Ya, some people don't like Pete, but it's okay. I'm still pondering about what to do with their relationship, anyway.

Stalkerwans (or ninja stalkerwans), I am SO sorry. It has been about a week since my last post of TIAJNAD, and I feel so bad. I hate it when people keep me waiting on stories, and now I'm doing it myself. I am really, really sorry. So to make it up to you guys, I'm going to write an extra long one today! I hope that makes up for the week of no TIAJNAD.




























My eyes fluttered open. I was tied to a log. I looked around (thankfully I could move my head). I then realized that the log was sitting on two smaller twigs (I don't know how they could hold the log with me on it). I looked below me, and there where sticks and dry leaves below my log. I looked up, and the natives where suddenly there.
AGH!
They weren't there, and then they were! That is creapy. Suddenly, they shouted.... AGAIN! Then a native ran up to me with a torch that was lit with fire. What was up with that. And then he threw it down below me, into the twigs and leaves. They started burning. And then I realized it. THEY WHERE CANNIBALS! The fire kept on burning, and it started burning the twigs that my log was sitting on. The twigs burned quickly and easily, and my log soon fell down into the fire. It started burning, and I smelled the smoke and saw the fire all around me. Suddenly, the natives scattered. I saw movement, and suddenly I was out of the fire; untied and unharmed (except that I was slightly singed). I looked up at my rescuer, assuming it would be Pete. Boy was I ever wrong.
Indah?
I looked up at him. It was surely Indah, except animals weren't surrounding him like usual.
I thought you where on Suzi's side.
I was...... but I'm not now.
I looked at him. Was it true? Had he turned good?
How did you find me?
I just followd the sound of chanting indians and thought I'd come and check it out.
I still couldn't beleive all of this. He couldn't have turned back! .... or could he?
We better get going before they come back.
He helped me to my feet, and then we started running, when I realized two things.
What about Jenette? And Pete?
They'll be fine, don't worry.
We started running again. We ran past trees and bushes, when I realized another thing.
What about the fire back there? We're in a forest. Won't it get out of control?
Which is why we're running.
I suddenly realized how important it was that we ran. I looked back. Boy was that one of the biggest mistakes of my life. Fire was burning down trees, and they where collapsing to the ground behind us. The fire was raging, smoke was everywhere. We ran faster and faster, and the fire burned quicker and quicker. We kept on running, when suddenly we slammed to a hault. In front of us was a cliff.... and we where at the edge of it! The fire got closer and closer to us.
What do we do now?!
Indah looked around frantically.
Follow me!
He grabbed my hand, and then jumped off the cliff, pulling me with him.
AGAHAGHAGAHGAHGAHAGHAGAHGAHAGHAGHAHGAHGA!!!!!!
The drop was so far that you couldn't even see where it ended. We fell and fell, Indah holding my hand. I looked over at him. He looked over at me. He smiled softly, and I smiled back. What was the matter with me?! WE WERE FALLING FOR PETE'S SAKE! ..... And then I remembered. PETE! I looked away from Indah, and out of the corner of my eye I saw him still smiling. Suddenly, I looked down. The ground was comeing closer and closer! Just as we were about to hit it, Indah flew up. Wait, what? He FLEW up? I looked over at him. HOW COULD I HAVE NOT REALIZED HE HAD WINGS?! We soared through the air. He had tricked me into thinking we where falling to our doom! I narrowed my eyes at him.
What?
You tricked me!
Hey, it's not my fault you're so trickable.
Was that even a word? Trickable? We flew higher and higher, until we where in the clouds.
So..... where are we going?

Indah smiled his kind smile. Yes. I was sure of it now. He was back. I looked down at the mountains that we passed, and on one I saw something that I couldn't believe. Jenette and Pete where on it's edge.... and Suzi was there too! She had a gun pointed at them!
Indah! Go and get Jenette and Pete! They're down there on that mountain!
What?
Indah looked down, and then flew down, seeing Jenette and Pete. He landed. Suzi looked at us, but mostly at Indah. Her gun was still aimed at Jenette and Pete.
Amy!
Pete!
I tried to run to him, but I knew that if I did, Suzi would pull the trigger.
Hello, Indah.
Hello, Suzi.
I'm glad you brought Amy here so I can dispose of her.
WHAT?!
I looked at INdah.
I'm sorry Amy.
He grinned evilly.
I never changed sides back with you. Suzi wanted to dispose of you herself.
Suzi then did something I'd never forget. She pulled the trigger of the gun. The bullet went through Pete's stomach, and he shouted in pain. I gasped as the air went out of me. Jenette didn't attack, though. She just stood there, looking mezmerized. I ran to Pete, not caring what Suzi would do next. He was lying on the edge of the mountain in pain. I looked at his eyes. He looked into mine. I cried.
Percival.
You called me it.
What?
You called me Percival.
He smiled. I smiled back.
Please don't go.
I can't stop it, Amy. I have to go.
No, no! Don't!
I love you.
And those where his last words. His eyes closed and his breathing stopped.
Pete? PETE!
I sobbed and sobbed. I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was Jenette. Her face was grim.
I'm sorry, Amy. He's gone.
No. No! Pete! Wake up! Wake up!
I breathed into his mouth, I bushed on his chest, I screamed in his ear. I tried everything I could. He didn't wake up.
Amy, he's gone. You have to stop.
No! He can't be! PETE! WAKE UP!
He didn't stir. I began to whisper.
I love you. Please wake up.
I then heard a gun cock. I turned around, and Suzi's gun was pointed at me.
Let's see..... Pete dies, then Amy, then Jenette. It works!
After she said that, everything went in slow motion. She pulled the trigger of the gun, and I heard the shot ring out. And then I saw Indah move in front of me and I ducked. Then I heard Indah scream in pain and then I saw the bullet go through him. He fell to the ground, and everything wasn't in slow motion anymore. I ran to Indah. Blood was coming out of his stomach. Jenette didn't do anything again. She looked mezmerized.
WHAT?! You little liar, Indah!
Why did you do that?
Indah looked up at me.
I wanted to be on the good side.
He smiled, and then he died. No, no, no! Everybody was dying! This couldn't be it! This couldn't be!
Now I'm having second thoughts. Maybe Jenette should die first, that way Amy can suffer. Yes! That would be much better! So it will go like this: Pete, Indah, Jenette, Amy, and then Jessy! Brilliant!
Suzi aimed the gun at Jenette. Jenette looked at me, and then at Suzi. Suzi pulled the trigger, and Jenette ducked and rolled into Suzi, knocking her down. Jenette jumped onto Suzi and punched her face.
You've caused so much pain!
Jenette punched her again.
So you shall have pain!
Jenette punched and punched Suzi. I then realized that Suzi had dropped her gun. I picked it up. Suzi's mouth was bleeding from Jenette's punches. Jenette punched and punched, and blood was pouring out of Suzi's mouth. Jenette then realized that I had the gun.
Shoot her, Amy!
Everything went in slow motion again. I looked at Jenette, who was holding Suzi down. I looked at Suzi, who had the evil look still on her face. I looked at Pete, who was dead. I looked at Indah, who was dead. And then I saw Jessy in my head. Her image was like the day we found her in the tower with her vocal cords wripped out. Blood was pouring out of her mouth. I tried to make the image go away, but it wouldn't. I then knew what I had to do. I threw the gun over the side of the mountain. Everything went back to regular motion.
Amy! What'd you do that for?!
Suzi! How can we save Jessy?
What?
And then I realized it. Suzi didn't know about Jessy not being able to speak.
How can we bring back somebody's voice?
Simple. All you have to do is go to the Speaking River, and sacrifice somebody's voice. And then you'll get the one's voice that was lost in return.
I looked at Jenette. Had she known this?
Jenette, did you know about this the whole time?
Jenette looked at me.

I stared.

And then she remembered.
Suzi can flash in and out of places!

And then I saw Pete and Indah, and the tears came again.
Amy! Pull yourself together!
How?! My boyfriend and friend just died!
I know that it's hard.

Jenette spoke quietly.
Because my boyfriend was murdered.
What? Who was your boyfriend?
His name was Clyff. I met him in karate, and we immediately became friends. Then that led to boyfriend girlfriend. And so one day we were walking in the park, when Suzi appeared. I'd seen her in karate. She was jealous of me.
Wait, Suzi took karate?
Jenette nodded.
As I was saying, Suzi was jealous of me. She aimed a gun at me, but Clyff knocked Suzi to the ground, but the gun still fired, and it went straight throung his chest.... and through his heart. He died immediately, and I didn't even get to say goodbye. Suzi then disappeared. I never saw Clyff again. That's why I didn't attack Suzi while she was killing Pete and Indah. It reminded me of Clyff.
I looked at her. I didn't realize how much had gone on in her life.
I'm sorry.
It's fine. We better get going.
I nodded. How was I ever going to sleep again with Pete and Indah dead? Suzi was still out there. We didn't even know where we were. What could we do?
