I 26: How does this character cope with sadness?

Minimum requirement: 150 words
Awards: 1 white feather

Hedron copes with sadness by either running around the territory or just lying down for a nap and hoping his dreams, if he has any, will be good ones. Napping is how he copes when he really doesn't want to get up and do anything, doesn't want to move at all. Like if he learned his baby mama had died in an accident, like getting kicked by a prey animal, or if he learned she'd lost the cubs. That kind of sadness is the kind that would make him just want to lie around, and so he'd just try and sleep it off and hope he wakes up feeling a bit better. Luckily, he's never had to deal with a sadness like that so far. Therefore, if he ever does feel sad, he just takes a run then comes back and drinks some water to cool down. He's done this ever since he was a cub, and in fact his mom was the one that taught him to do so. It's what she'd do, he'd notice as a cub and adolescent, whenever she was sad about anything, like if she and dad had a fight.

I 27: How does this character cope with anger?

Minimum requirement: 150 words
Awards: 1 white feather

Hedron copes with anger by either dunking his head in the water or by running around a bit to find a good tree and using his claws on it. This is a really good way for him to deal with it, actually, and he likes the former rather than the latter because he actually has a fear of being pushed into water/drowning...Not that there's any other lions or other animals here that might do that to him anyway. Still, he has that fear so he doesn't really like the first way of coping, and usually pulls his head out of the water too fast, so he has to run and find a tree anyway to cool his anger. His father taught him both these ways of coping, by the way, so he'd never hurt his mate or pride members. It's a really good coping mechanism, and it leaves marks on the trees, so it's technically another way of showing this is his territory.
