Dear Bob,
Ack. Mun dai.
Monday. Sorry.
Monday stinks. I have to go back to schooool...!
Here's de bus Bob. I'll write in you after school.
~CAR.
Hi again Bob!
OHHH I LOVE MONDAY!!
Isn't Monday great!? Back to school. *sighhh*
I just sighed in my notebook...
Oi.
Anyways. I bet you want to know why I'm SOOOO happy.
Okay. So the day started out sooooo boring. And them thin tin tehn. THEN.
Spaz.
Sorry.
I'm just sooo dang happy!
OK calm down...
The day started out REALLY boring.
We had to work work work.
Then we had mooore work.
Finnaly, school got out.
I found Rella in the bathroom, crying!
Okay, okay, I know, I know. I'm sooo sooo mean. Right? Right.
But she's my enemy!
Huf.
What an ememy I am! I acctualy went over to her and asked what was wrong. At first she just snapped at me to get away, but she finnaly told me that Tyler broke up with her.
(Silent happiness!)
Poor Rella was so broken. So I promised not to tell anybody that she was crying. Or spread gossip that Tyler had broke up with her. (even though most the school already knew.)
I also promised one more thing.
Well. (Evil smile.) I promised this to myself.
Gah. I'm suuuuch a softy.
So I did as I promised myself I would.
I just happened to be staying after school to help my mom with some paperwork stoof, and before going to her office, I went into Mr. Ardson's room.
Why? Well because Tyler helps his dad with school stuff sometimes too. And I was preeeeetty sure he was helping today too.
"Hello Carmen, how can I help you?" Mr. Ardson said to me, looking up from his computer.
"Oh, I wanted to talk to Tyler for a second, is he here?"
Mr. Ardson nodded, "He's in the gym, I think..."
"Thanks Mr. Ardson."
I went to the gym, and sure enough, Tyler was there. He was shooting hoops. Y'know Basket ball. Pah. Basket ball.
I grabbed a ball off the rack and threw it.
At his head.
I didn't miss.
"Ow!" He rubbed his head and turned to see who had hit him. "What was that for!?"
"Oh, I'm sorry, did I miss the basket? Maybe I should try again." I picked up another ball and threw it at him. He ducked. Darn him.
"Carmen, stop it!"
"Why should I? I don't think Rella's stopped yet."
"Stopped what!?" He jumped aside as another ball went flying at him.
"Stopped crying. Gosh Tyler, you broke her heart."
He stopped dodging the basket balls that I threw at him and got hit in the chest. "That's what this is about? Gosh Carmen, I thought you hated Rella."
"I do," I said, "And I still felt bad for her."
Silence.
"Why are you smiling?" I asked him, raising another basketball. I faked throwing it and he flinched.
"Oh. Well, you didn't have to kill me to find out why I broke up with her."
"Oh sorry. I didn't think of that." I said scathingly.
"Yeah, well, you wanna know, or you gonna kill me first, then ask me."
"I like choice number two. But I'll give you a chance first. Maybe a running head start?"
His smile faded for a second but came back as he raced out of the gym, yelling, "Catch me if you can!"
That twirp.
I chased after him.
Meanwhile....(what I didn't know till afterward)
Tyler was running through the hall, and my mom came out of a teacher's room.
"Tyler, what in the world!?"
"Oh, gosh, Mrs. Verimn, you have to help me. I think your daughter's trying to kill me. Like litteraly. And she won't let me explain."
Mom smiled at that and ushered him into an empty room. She closed the door behind her.
Back to me.
I ran down the hall, and a door opened behind me. Mom walked out.
"Hey Mom. You haven't happened to see Tyler anywhere have you?"
Remember how Mommy and me are soooo totaly tight? Well. That doesn't mean we don't lie to eachother.
"I don't think so...Honey, why are you carrying a basket ball in the halls?"
"Oh...well." I held the basketball behind my back. "I..uh...that's why I'm looking for Tyler, I think he dropped it."
The door opened behind Mom.
"Lier!" Did I spell that wrong? Anyways, that was Tyler. He's not very good at hide-n-seek huh?
"Hey Mom, would you mind...?" I motioned for her to step aside and she did.
"Who's side are you on?" Tyler asked, looking at Mom with a baffled expression.
"Oh, I don't take sides." Mom replied, walking down the hall to the principle's office a couple turns away.
I threw the ball at Tyler and he caught it.
"Okay," I said, "You were gonna explain?"
Tyler sighed and slumped down on the floor, his back against the wall. "Yeah. Just let me catch my breath first."
I kicked his leg. "No. I have to go help my mom. Make it fast."
"In that case, I dumped Rella for another girl, and that was like, a week ago. She was probably crying just for attention. I thought you knew. Though...I don't think that other girl wants to go out with me." He sighed.
"Oh, and why's that?"
"Because she just beat me up with a bunch of basket balls."
Silence.
It took a second for that to sink in.
"Uh...ei...Hhhh...M-me!?"
"Uh, let's see, how many girls have tried to kill me with basket balls?" He started counting his paw fingers, he only went as far as one. "Hmmm...looks like just one." He wiggled his paw at me. "That's what I was gonna ask you, y'know, freeze tag? Up in the big oak?"
Wow.
I bent over and grabbed the basket ball from Tyler. Looking up, saw Tyler was sheilding his face. Oh wow. I almost lol-ed at that. I turned back away and started back to the gym. I had some Basket balls to put away.
After that, I went to my mom's office and helped her tidy stuff up.
Yeah.
Then some dinosaurs started to raid the school.
Interesting day.
Very interesting day.
I'm very happy Bob.
You should be too.
