Chapter 11
Ari
"Amazing. You have the best audition I've seen in my career." Verona said. I felt as if my hear skipped a beat. "T-T-Thank y-you." I said, feeling a bit dizzy. "May I ask your full name, Ms. Blue?" Verona said. "Ari Kate Blue." I responded, and she nodded, "You may go now. I will call you to let you know when you may see Mr. Lawley." I nodded, and grabbed my guitar, and pretty much jogged out of the office, my pumps echoing throughout the empty halls.
I got into Logan's car, and put my guitar in the back. "How'd it go?" Logan asked, and I smiled. "I made it!" I yelled, and he hugged me, "Awesome!" I nodded, and said, "I can't wait to tell Kendall! I should call him now!" I took out my phone, but it was lowered by Logan. "H-How about you call him after a ice cream celebration?" he said, a his facial expression a mix of nervousness and jealousy. I shrugged, and he drove to my favorite ice cream place. We walked in, and I sat down at a table which faced the park. Logan came back with two bowls of ice cream, mint chip for me and chocolate for him. We ate, and I stared at the children playing. "If we get married, how about a family?" I asked, looking back at Logan. He nearly choked on his ice cream, and spit it back out. 'How soon are you talking?" he whimpered, and I chuckled.
"Don't worry, I'm only nineteen. But, what do you think?" I said, and he cleared his throat, "P-Pretty day, isn't it?" Logan gazed outside and looked anywhere but the park. "Logan.. Answer my question.." I said, getting a little annoyed. Does he even think of his future? "Hey-Um. I think we should go home..." Logan said, and gripped my wrist tightly before dragging me to the car.
