Scary stories (dont read if you are easily scared)

Ive got one,
A man was out with some friends late at night, and they started to bring up a topic about a house down the road that was haunted by spirits. "haha, you dont believe that crap do you?" said the man. His friends kept on saying that it really was, so they made a bet. The man said that he would stay in the house overnight, to prove that there wasnt any spirits
.
So he went into the abandoned house, and just started lying around, trying to make time go faster, because nothing was happenning, he was going to win the bet and prove nothing was weird about the house.

So after 2 hours, he started to inspect the house, he went into one of the bedrooms and found a loaded gun under the bed."I better keep this incase some spirits try to kill me" he said with a laugh. Then he went to bed. The bed had a dusty blanket on it, enough to keep him warm. He fell asleep in minutes.

He woke up, The moon shining through the window was the only light in the whole house. he look around the room and saw two shining eyes at the foot of the bed. Terrified and shocked, he grabbed the gun and shot at the left eye. He screamed in agony. He had shot his own toe.



PS. the moonlight made his toenails shine in the light, which made it look like eyes
(sorry if this wasnt scary, I read it in a ghost story book once)

Here's one I wrote at school.
The yellow moon rose over the dank back streets and warrens of the city as the first of it's nocturnal residents slowly made their way out of their hovels and makeshift shelters. It was still a couple of hours till the streets exploded into life, till the first punch was thrown and the first score settled. It's risky living in Undertow, but to Elijah, it was home.
Just as it was nearing midnight he heard it.
A blood-curdling, bone-chilling scream of a woman about to lose her life.
It stoped as suddenly as it started.
And Elijah knew where it came from. Exactly where.
He'd been tracking the killer for months till it went cold. Now he could see it for real.
He packed a knife and his notes and set off into the night.
Usualy he wouldn't go out at night, but this was special.
Running all the way to Hangman's Wood just to get rid some of the adrenalin gushing through him nearly ran smack into the murderer.
He just wasn't expecting what happened next.
It looked right through him. A piercing amber glare.
A terrible howling emmited from the throat of the foul beast as it dropped to it's knees, convulsing violently, shrinking till it resembled a human, and ran off into the woods.
Elijah went back home, elated and filled with a sudden tiredness went straight to his room to sleep. It's just the last thing he saw was a pair of large, amber eyes staring at his chest, right at his heart, before everything faded to black.

i have real paranormal things happen at my house, they stop[ped a few months ago though:
i got locked in the bathroom
my grandma got locked in the bathroom
the oven light turns on and off by itself(still happens)
my sister went to open a door and it opened before she touched it
the house is really creaky, and when we are downstairs we can hear footsteps upstairs(still happens)
I was on the couch facing the stairs watching tv, I got bored, looked at the stairs and a cloudy outline of a young lady wearing a dress which was puffy on the shoulders
Ocasionally we hear loud snoring in all our rooms at the same time at night. We thought it would be a possum but then we remembered that they dont sleep at night, now we just hear something quietly snoring
