I could help too, since I'm on most of the time during the day, but I'm not good at coding lol. I think since we're trying to revive the trend, or just keep it going, that we give it somewhat of a new look to attract more people

Id volunteer but my coding and stuff is bleh, I can always do the library part where people ask for their diaries to be put up for everyone to see, or do a F&Q too if the trend picks up again and answer general questions and stuff

i'm pretty good at coding, so i'd be willing to write something for the new thread! i would make it cross-compatible, too, so it doesn't break for anyone. for this to happen it would have to be pretty simple code, but i don't really think we need anything too crazy. i should be working on homework right now, but i can get drafting sometime tomorrow? if you want some examples of my code and don't mind a shameless self-plug, here's my imgur folders: x x x x

this is what i have for the code, the thread title being "Diaries? Idk her. I only know about conventions." i didn't want to post the whole thing, so if you want to take a peek, just copy and paste it into the post preview box. ^.^ i think keeping the diary format would be fitting, but if you guys want something else, i can definitely code up something more complex. also, if anyone else wants their main character featured, let me know! we can definitely fit them in somehow, i just put ilsyfa in to explain how the library works.

Hello there! I'm glad you were able to make it to the annual not-a-diary convention where all authors of a not-a-diary are able to meet up!

My name is Marcy, and I write this convention! Pretty cool, right? I also organize all events like these in which not-a-diaries get together and meet each other. Those events include meet-ups like this, contests, collaborations, and more! Oh, this is just so exciting!

Agh, I forgot to mention something! Even if you don't write a no-a-diary, you are welcome to come and hang out! I like to include absolutely everyone who is interested in not-a-diaries, so everyone is welcome whether they read, write, or just want to talk about not-a-diaries! I do request that anyone who doesn't like or wants to bash these joyous creations please refrain from interacting with this convention. It's not nice at all.

Anywho! I think it's time we get things started. I will be setting up a sort of "library" for any not-a-diary authors who want to have their wonderful pieces of literature featured here! I'll have Ilsyfa here explain.
