Shatter waved, adjusting her apron and glasses. Zeon nervously gulped, trying to get over his shock of seeing his crush working at the bakery. She pointed back towards the glass, silently asking if that was all. Zeon quickly nodded. With another slight shrug and odd look towards him, she started up the cash register.

As Zeon tried not to make himself look like a fool, he tried to compliment her.

"H-hey Shatter... Your headband looks pretty cute on you."

Shatter smiled at him, making a warm feeling rush onto his cheeks. Noticing she had already calculated the price, he handed over money to pay for it. Quickly, she passed him back his change and goods in a bag. He then realized he never told her his name! Dog, she must think was like a total stalker or creepy now!

"Oh! My name is Zeon! I saw your introduction while Bruce was uh, sorting us...? I swear I'm not like a stalker or anything!"

As he tried to explain himself, Shatter made a motion of bring her hand up to cover her mouth. It seems like she was laughing, and Zeon wondered how her laugh would have sound like. She pulled out a small notepad and pen, and starting writing on it.

Lol, it's fine. Nice to meet you.

Smiling Zeon slightly laughed himself.

"Yeah, same. So..."

Zeon racked his brain for some topic to talk about.

What group are you in? I was put into invisible.

"Oh, I got put into Outcasts. Lucy was gonna put me in popular, but then Bruce was like.."

A jerk?

He laughed.

"Pretty much."

But while I was getting stuff for my family, it turns who she's a baker at Cake&Bread bakery!

Another person came in and the other three got bored and told me to hurry up, she slipped a piece of paper into my bag while I wasn't looking. It had her number and note on it.

"Hey again Zeon!"
"Sup Quinn."
"Why are you here back so soon?"
"I don't actually know."
"We're here looking for a job for Zeon."
"Ah, you just missed an opening. We had a spot for hired, but then Annabelle applied."

The blonde pointed towards a girl cleaning a table near the window. The first thing Emmett and Zeon noticed about her was... Blue.

"Anna!"
"Yeah?"

She looked up to see Quinn with two other guys. One had bronzed colored hair and glasses. He looked pretty serious, although sorta young as well. The other guy was kinda cute, she remembered him from school, being the first person to be sorted. He had white hair and wore a kinda out of fashion hat, but cute nonetheless. And he was a writer!

"Oh, you're Zeon right?"
"Erm, yeah. How do you know my name?"
"I go to Spectrum High School too."
"Oh! Well, nice to meet you Anna."

He smiled back at her, and Anna blushed, but he didn't notice, as he asked Quinn a question.

"Hey where are your other friends at?"
"Huh?"

Emmett cut in with his usual monotone voice.

"StarBark."
"Ah, I see. Shouldn't you go catch up with them? It's starting to get a little late."

It was then Zeon realized the time. IT WAS ALREADY 6.

"ALRIGHT EM WE GOTTA GO-"

Grabbing his best friend by his sweater vest, the two booked it. Quinn watched as they left, and then looked at Anna. Already knowing the look in her eyes, he sighed.
'That guy is a total magnet.'

Barging into StarBark, Zeon spotted the couple near the far end. Going to them, he pasted by a full table with foreigners. He shivered, they had an dangerous air around them. Riven gave him a wave with his fingers, as Shiro nodded.

"I got her number!"

Zeon said excitedly, rambling as he continued, but Riven stopped him.

"Woah. Whose number?"
"Shatter's!"
"Good job! Shiro, our son is growing up!"
"Absolutely not."
"Shiro."
"What, Mattie?"
"Don't call me Mattie either."
"Guys! Anyways, we gotta go home, I help to help Lilly with her homework and the cupcakes are getting cold."
"Fine, fine."
"Alright, let's go then."
"Finally."

Well, today's been a pretty nice day. I got to talk to my crush, get her number, made friends and stuff. Plus Ida and Lilly liked their gifts too.

Come to think of it, I never did say where I was gonna work at. I wanted to work at Finny's but Anna took that spot...

Hmm...
Emmett works at GameStop, and Riven at that Jewelry store. And then Shiro has a job at iPaw.
I think I know exactly where I'm gonna work at.

Being a florist doesn't sound so bad, right?

Ugh, today's my first day at working with Miss Takamura at the florist. Flowers are so girly but I like them...! And it smells nice there..
Oh, I see the new students. I snapped some pictures on my Polaroid I got from Ida, she won it during some school thing, heh.
It was Holly, The dude from the art shop, Windsor, Anna, and two kids I've never seen.

Cinnamon only rolled her eyes at him, and looked at me. That was when I felt like someone else was glaring at the back of my head...

Stopping his writing for a second, Zeon looked up, spotting Shatter enter the room. Eyes lighting up, he stood up and started to walk towards her. Waving his hand in the air, he called out her name.

"Hey! Shatter!"'

Said girl turned around, glacing around until she spotted him and smiled softly, making Zeon's heart skip a beat. Meanwhile, Anna had taken this chance to sit with Emmett, Shiro and Riven.

"Hey, can I sit her?

"Sure."
"I don't see why not?"
"Yes."

Sitting next to Shiro, Anna realized they were all watching Zeon and Shatter. Anna, who considered Zeon to be cute, decided to ask about this.

"Who's that?"

Emmett answered.

"Shatter, Zeon's crush."
"Really..?"
"Yeah. He's like, totally head over heels for her."
"...Mhmm.."

Slightly glaring at Shatter, Anna placed her head in her palms. Zeon had just about reached Shatter, before a shrill scream and weight on his back made him almost fall over. Leaning forward, he used his arms to steady himself, realizing someone had wrapped their arms around his neck and legs around his hips.

"Who the?!"

Trying to crane his neck around, he spotted a rainbow sleeve and brown hair.

"Cinnamon?"
"That's right, Zeo!"
"Now, ONWARDS MY NOBLE STEED!"

Giggling, she placed his head atop of his and pointed forwards. By this point, Zeon had balance himself and held Cinnamon's ankles, trying to not let her fall. Shatter, who had been watching, noticed Anna sitting at his table. Anna and Shatter made eye contact, before switching back to Cinnamon and Zeon. Both girls were jealous, although Shatter was a little more jealous then Anna was.

Lucy, who had been watching along with Bruce, stuck her arms and hands out like a child.

"I want a piggy-back ride too!"

She whined, as Bruce glanced at her before glaring at Zeon silently. Zeon, who was very confused, glanced behind him to see Bruce's glaring and Nightmare as well.. WAS THAT A SCYTHE IN HIS HANDS?!
Not wanting to die today, Zeon starting running away.

"OH MY DOG-!"
"YAY!"

As he ran, Cinnamon cheered, and Nightmare stalked after them, a dark air around him, Shatter watched as they left, before turning around leaving with a huff. Anna's eye slightly twitched, as Emmett looked at her.

"Jesus, how come he gets all the girls?"
"Maybe because he doesn't keep and a straight face all the time and smiles, nor insults everyone- OW! EM NO! NOT THE FACE!"

As Emmett pinched Riven's nose harshly as Shiro watched, Anna started to understand Zeon more.

Zeon basically collapsed onto the lunch table, slightly twitching. Shiro and Emmett glanced at him, before returning to their eating. Riven grabbed Zeon by the shoulders and shook him frenetically.

"ZEON! MY SON! ARE YOU OKAY?!"

Dazed words were his response.

"Adfsdjf- ..."
"ZEON STAY WITH ME-!"
"Shut up. You're so loud! He's fine, let him rest."

Peeling Riven off Zeon, Zeon slouched over the table, his arms covering his face. Shiro patted his head, taking off his sweaty hat and letting damp snow hair fall onto the table. He groaned, shifting his face so his cheek touched the cool table.

"Ugh.. I had to carry the new kid while the dude chased me around... It was so scary."

The group chuckled, and Zeon slightly smiled, huffing out to catch his pants. Using his elbows to lean up, he smiled. During the whole 'piggy back chase ride thing', Cinnamon finally got tired of holding onto Zeon, jumping off him. She then hit Nightmare in the head, and left, nightmare following.

Sighing, Zeon noticed Shatter again, and felt guilty about what happened. He tried to get her attention again, but failed.

"Hey! Shatter...?"

However, Shatter walked right past him, leaving a confused and gaping Zeon. Watching her, he saw her sit with another boy. The guy can black hair and wore a orange hoodie. Once she saw down next to him, he smiled at her, placing a hand on her arm and talking animatedly. She smiled back at him, and used to her hands to sign back, him reading them expertly.



Zeon watched jealously, narrowing blue and green eyes. Scoffing, he turned back to Shiro, who seemed to read better then him.

"Who's that?"
"Who?"
"They guy with Shatter."
"Someone pretty close to her, I would guess."
"Obviously."
"Don't you get sassy with me. His name is Broken, he's in one of my classes."
"Oh~! What if Broken's her boyfriend?"

Riven comment made Zeon's version of wrath lock onto him. The look Zeon gave to Riven told him to lock his windows that night.
