YAAAAYYY! You know what's going to happen todayyyy, so there'll be two entries todayyyy. Oh gosh, I think my YYYY keyyyy is glitched. I'll have to copy and paste from now on. I know it's not very efficient, don't judge me.

So we've got a week‘s break of fighting after this. Phew, thanks Avian! It's about time! There's also been rumors about Totoro coming in to help Avian after the big gap. Never seen her before, I can't wait! :D

COMMON COMEON LEAFLET SHOW US DA FIGHTERS!



BEG (no, not 'beg') and Spotted Tribal. Highest two under the big gap. BEG is called Hei An. I think the owner must have been Chinese? I know for a fact Lisa's been naming all her CNY pets something from her language. Anyways, he controls black holes, and has powers like one. So I'm guessing I should brace myself. Spotty, the Tribal, controls evolution, and I think she can turn into really crazy things and make himself faster, stronger, etc.

Spotty charges forward straight away, only to dig her claws into the ground a second later when Hei An throws out a black hole in his place, quickly casting a spell to keep himself away. Avian instantly summons up a magical force field to protect all the spectators from falling in.

As time passes, Spotty claws forward, away from the black hole, and charges Hei An at a ridiculous speed, knocking him over and threatening him with huge claws and teeth. The BEG rolls to the side, legs kicking at Spotty's face. The tribal hardly notices, and somehow seems to be growing... WINGS? SERIOUSLY? I KNOW IT'S EVOLUTION, BUT WHAT?

Before my caps lock can begin freaking out again, Spotty pins Hei An to the wall, and prepares to smash him again. She backs up, and summons in magical cuffs to keep him stuck. At the last second, Hei An turns into a black hole, and Spotty falls straight into it. The real BEG appears in his starting position a second later, and I can just hear him say,

"Well, evolution is more about intelligence rather than violence." he mutters as everyone cheers.

Comeon, Gem. Let's go meet at the training grounds.

14th March 2015 - Afternoon - Training Day 1

Night brought us to an old, decrepit arena off in a restricted area. Rane seems to be waiting with another dog.



"Who are you?"

"I'm Celosia, former she-warrior. I'll be helping you with physical attacks and defense."

Night walked over to me and took my diary away. So I suppose it's third person for you now!

"So, try not to do something idiots do. You don't need to clear your mind or anything like that. Just find your own way of doing it."

I'm pretty much an idiot, that's something I can't really do. I focused, and suddenly I couldn't see any more. Wisps of blue, gray and brown floated in the murky blackness around me. The blue one started coming towards me. I started panicking, and I could somehow feel the blue wisp panicking too. Suddenly, I fell over, and ABSORBED IT. The blackness was still around me. WHERE HAVE I SEEN THIS BEFORE?

Well, this is not what I was expecting...

OMG HOW DO I GET YOU OUTTA HERE? YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THIS HAPPENS!

Calm down, your power is controlled by you. I just really hope you don't insist on me staying here.

I'm not walking about with a cloud stuck in my head.

Everything suddenly went back to normal and Celosia looked pretty freaked out, while Rane's expression, was as normal, normal.

"I told you I was right. And look at her diary. She can see a bit of the future too."

"How?" I couldn't help asking.

"Remember when you linked to that awful drawing of Night? It was drawn in JUNE."

"Well I was never good with dates "

"I think that's enough training for today..." Celosia muttered. "Let's get you home."

So I'm running all the way back to my bedroom. Oh well, horrible nightmares tonight.

16th March 2015 - Morning - Training Day 2

Back at the arena. Rane's going to be teaching me special self-taught tactics. If that even makes sense

"So, you know how a bunch of Main Battles have bolts included in them?" she asked.

"Yeah? It gets extremely boring after a while."

“It's something all pets can do. Even if they have the power of furniture, they can pretty much summon up a wooden bolt."

Got it. Sorry, I'm too lazy to talk.

Okay, let's see what you can do. Do what you did yesterday.

I focused again, this time thinking of how I could shoot a bolt. A black arrow-like bolt appeared in front of me. I made it point at the wall, and quickly switched back into normal if I can even describe myself as that mode. It blew up a bit more of the already blown up arena.

"It's not very fast, strong or helpful." Celosia growled.

"You could do better? You hardly do anything but show off about how you used to fight like a 'warrior'. Can you even use magic, and not just make yourself stronger?" Night challenged, biting her sword that she usually had. Celosia jumped up too, growling in Night's face.

I couldn't let this happen. What else could I do? I quickly thought about what I could do, and a shield was all I could think about. Classic, but it helped. A huge shield appeared in the middle of the arena before either could attack.

"What just happened?" Rane asked. "We were doing a normal training lesson, then BOOM! Gem suddenly summons up a shield because you two just HAD TO argue."

"Sorry Rane." they both mutter. Strange, pets usually never listen to PPS because of how grumpy they can get. Maybe another one of Rane's skills.

Anyways, Rane then taught me things you never see the Main Lists doing. False moves, which only work if the person you fight doesn't expect it, and let you get back in control when you're in trouble. Healing, even if it's not incredibly helpful (the only good healer I've ever seen is Hera), and she's actually rather impressive with magic. The best one is that you can see what the person is going to do next. It's apparently just natural, and it's easy to take advantage of.

Sorry if I sound like a nerd. It's these lessons. I learn too well.

It's not as interesting as I thought it was. Oh well, better keep my hopes up for Celosia. I should really get back home, we left before breakfast, and I'm starving!

17th March 2015 - Lunchtime - Training day 3

Well I have Rane again, wonder what going to happen today?

"Okay, today we're practicing picking items up with magic. Since you can't seem to survive without your diary, you can try writing in it from a distance."

"Umm... I think you wrote the wrong characters..." Night quietly says. "I don't mean that as a reprimand."

"Na. It looks more like a five-year-old's drawing. And how did you see that? And what does that word mean?"
Well, it does! And it's not my fault if I never learned much at school!

"It's a rebuke." Rane answers. I answer with a face. "Idiot. Teacher-tell-off-student-thingy." She sounds serious, even though she looks like she's about to explode of laughter.

"Okay, enough writing in your diary. I've got a stack of A4 paper, and you might as well try writing something on that."

It took the whole DAY to write on all the papers. It was actually pretty funny to see my handwriting. Here's some of my favorites. I'm sorry if you can't see them, I picked the closest symbols I could that work with this digital-diary-thingy.

18th March 2015 - Nighttime - Training Day 4

WHY DO WE HAVE TO START AT NIGHTTIME? I REALLY NEED MY BEAUTY SLEEP.

Anyways, Night says I've finished learning magic (even though I still can't do much), or the basics at least. I have to teach myself the rest. So, I'm going to try and fight her and Rane. Great. As if I know enough. I might be able to take Rane down by luck, but I have no idea what Night can do. And she's much older than me, so even if she has the power of emojis, she's probably going to beat me.

Alright. You see that line behind us? We're going to try and push each other past that. If you manage both of us, you'll be getting both our shares of Chicken-Os for the rest of the fight.

OMG YEESS

Celosia starts us off. And I've practiced writing in you so I can write well enough for you to turn them to normal letters.

Night rushes in with a white bolt that looks like.. Moonlight? I run to the side, then summon what's on my mind - a mirror. Rane's dark rose bolt bounces off it (luckily!) and sends Night zooming past the line. She manages to catch herself with magic, landing on one of the dusty seats.

Rane rushes towards me, and she looks like she's going for a full-on-charge. I panic, and for some reason I seem to be thinking about explosions. A black energy knocks her well out of the arena, and I feel like there's a part of her in my head (CREEPY ) but I can't get rid of it. Night uses her cyber wings (since she actually seems to like the dress-up she has) and flies to Rane. Celosia runs out as well. So I guess I should follow them. And switch you back to keyboard mode.

"Tourmaline? What did you do?" Night half screams. I can tell she's trying to be calm, but isn't really good at it.

"I don't know! I was starting to panic and I was thinking about explosions-" Actually, I do know what I did, but I don't want to type it out since Night sometimes stalks my diary.

"I better get her to hospital. Celosia, you take Gem back to her group and get her to sleep." Night's still half-screaming.

"What? No! I'm perfectly fine-" Rane says as she wakes up, and then falls unconscious again.

Night opens her pair of cyber wings, grabs her sword and flies off again. Celosia just walks me home. Why can't I get wings?

19th March 2015 - Afternoonish - Training day 5

Well, I wasn't meant to have a lesson today, but since Night went to the hospital with Rane, and I haven't got any physical training. So Celosia's taking me for a quick talk about moves. Pfffffft. I really wish I had Luna and Aura teach me. Then again, it could be even more boring with Aura.

"I'm not going to explain at first. Just battle me like any pet that you fought in school. No claws, bites or magic. Unless you're still trying to write in your diary."

Umm, okay. I'm really lazy and I would just annoy the bully until they ran away fuming. And if they did attack, I just dodged and ran. So no advantage for me!

Celosia swipes a paw in my direction. I duck my head as low as it goes, and I'm trying to charge her. She doesn't even notice, and I bounce off. Embarrassing! She tries to charge me, and I dodge to the side. Only then I realize she wasn't aiming at me in the first place, but where I'm standing now. DARN IT!

The she-warrior then jumps on top of me, and pins me down. Um, what did Hei An do? Roll and knock Spotty over? I try that, and Celosia barely budges off.

"Well, you certainly haven't learnt much. I don't see that you're too strong either. You're good at dodging, but not too much else. You don't use the most helpful move if you aren't able to make any progress with it. The Mains only do that because they're all very strong. The way you fought probably would have gotten you killed."

"Okay, so, what should I do?" Probably run and leave it to Avian and Sunny

"You might have to run a lot, though there are times when you can't. I'll give you a note on what different moves tiers of fighters should use. I'm not marking them by rarity or species. Expect a note by your bedside tomorrow morning. You can go."

"Okay. I'm going to check on how Night and Rane and coping. You coming?"

"No... Night and I had a disagreement long ago..." I'm probably not gonna ask Celo or Night about that.

Like 5 hours later, I arrive at the hospital and see a Zodiac talking to Rane. She looks like... Luna? I remember her from before, but I never remember her user's profile link. Also known as her address.

"Hey Rane! You feelin' fine?" the zodiac says while bouncing.

"Yeah, I don't know why Night insisted on keeping me here when I am PERFECTLY FINE."

"Yes, PPS have a right to things too. And we all have a right of privacy. Don't we, Tourmaline?" Aura looks at me like I'm a stalker. I guess I kinda was stalking their conversation

Tour! Haven't seen you in ages! <3

Whoa, you can mind-speak Luna?"

Yep! Rane told me you could do it now!

Awesome, right? And one more thing, could you PM me your user's profile link. I don't wanna lose you.

"Uh, hello Gem? I'm pretty sure it's me you came to talk to? And Night as well, who just went home."

"Oh yeah! Sorry Rane!"

"Better. Listen, I'll be with you tomorrow, but it's not that simple."

"Why?" Well, it sounds pretty simple to me - I accidentally rip out half of her, she goes to hospital to recover. Makes sense to ask why.

"I'll explain tomorrow. You better get home. Dinner's probably cooked by now."

"Fine.. See you."

So I'm walking home right now. It's not too far, so might as well open my owner's my inbox and check the PMs I've gotten. Hmm. About 1000 from Night, asking where I am. Some random user messages. Oh, there it is!

"Here's my user's link! Hope you're having a nice break! - Luna."

I guess there's nothing interesting about dinner and sleep so yeah.

21th March 2015 - Like 12am - Nothing's going on

Rane said she's coming back from hospital today. I'm totally not walking up and down and in circles at the entrance of the hospital. And no uncommons looked at me strangely when that happened.

Tomorrow I'm going back to writing about the fights. Yay! No more entries with no pet images in them . And as soon as that happens, Totoro's going to be coming to the fights as well! Avian announced it yesterday! And no more boring training lessons!

About (or at least, what felt like) 5 hours later, Rane came out looking like she always does - pretty much emotionless and indifferent. I'm wondering if the accident actually changed anything about her.

"So, you know what happened?" she inquires. She's speaking like she knows I have the worst memory in all of CS.

"Obviously." I answer flatly. I don't think even I could forget what happened a few days ago. And when I do, it's usually not something really serious and so significant. I MEAN, WHO COULD FORGET THAT?

"Well, now I'm apparently being sent off to a school which trains pets in magic. They came to visit and think I'm skilled enough."

"Butifyouareskilledenoughwhydoyouneedtogotoschool? Andaren'tPPSonlyallowedtogotonursery?"

"Yeah, I know. Society demands it though. The school accepts everyone. Don't worry, I'll be posting my adventures too, because like you, I'm not normal. Hang around the forums as much as possible to try and catch it!"

"Okay then, I'll be stalking it. I hope all of my readers don't go crazy on it!"

"Ahaha, they probably will. Don't worry, I'll come and visit as much as possible." she smiles for the first time since I saw her in the hospital.

"You better pack up, and I better get to sleep before I pass out myself!" I shout as I walk to my bed, obviously not waking everyone up.

Yeah, it'll be back to normal entries next time... I guess. Just without Rane ;(

Yep, another date mistake last time. 21th. Anyways, here we are back at the fight to see what's happenin'. Oh wait - I see Totoro! I don't have a pet image for her, but she's the little birdy at the top of each page hugging hovering next to Avian.

"Hello CS! Welcome to the second round of the fight! I will be helping Avian with the judging!" she chirps. I could barely make it out, and Night's face is like, "What the heck did she just say?".

"Today's competitors will be Nicky, the unNICKorn, and Mintehh <3, the UR mint horse! Check your leaflet to see what they look like! Don't forget to place your bet guys! "

Uh, I was going to explain it myself, but Totoro beat me to it. Yeah, all I have to say is Mintehh's powers mostly refresh things, and Nicky can control derpiness. This.. could be a... weird, battle. I'm not sure why put so many dots and commas there, but whatever. Photos incoming!



I'm not explaining who is who. You're an idiot if you don't know. Just kidding! I love all the readers of my diary and they all are super smart! Compared to me, at least. I'm super dumb.

"Three, two, one, BANANA!" Avian yells, then blushes as about 2984109 pets stare at him oddly. And also Mintehh, who says,

"Avian, you need some coke."

"Sorry guys. 3-2-1 GO!"

Mintehh pours coke over Nicky, who stops being derpy and falls on the floor. But of course, falling on the floor is kinda derpy, so Nicky is strengthened. She farts a rainbow out her butt and flies into Mintehh. Weird, I know. Mintehh takes quite a hit, but bites a piece of mint and gallops to the other side of the stadium quite quickly before Nicky farts doges in her face. Don't judge her.

Mintehh then throws a refresher bolt at Nicky, who looks as weird as ever. I'm not insulting Nick's artwork - it actually looks adorbs. Oh gosh, I think Nicky's doing a spell. It must be becoz every1's cagtching da derpy ranbow or somethinz! then da unickorn shoots litteral doge faces at mintehh!

Yeah, excuse me. Talking like a fiver-year-old. By the way, I'm pretty derpy myself, so not everything was from her. Especially the fiver year old part. Nicky whips Mintehh with her tail, yells DERP, flies away on a pair of really weird wings, and knocks Minteh over with a rainbow bolt. Minteh doesn't seem to be getting up anytime soon, so Avian announces the winner as Nicky.

Wait, hang on. I just got a mind message from Rane.

'Visit' my school. Murder mystery. Won't take long. About two days at most.

What? Okay then. I've been stalking her 'diary' for a while, but I didn't remember this happening. I'll be back when the next fight starts. Surprisingly I never miss them.

Uhm, I know I'm not watching a fight, but this was kinda weird. And I know I write in present tense, but it already happened so, whateves. Yeah, to the point.

I was eating Chicken-Os while watching the TV. Nothing special on, so I went to a horror channel. Then one of the pets my owner got gifted last Christmas came to us. He's called Daniel, and is one of that super colorful, VR 2008 litter.



Mind moving to make room on the sofa?

Why can like 99% of everyone I know mind talk? Okay, fine.

"You do know that the UR tiger that suggested this wants to take over the demand of CS, right? And you're supposed to save us." he suddenly asked. And it happened just as a jumpscare happened. So you can guess I almost choked.

"*COUGH* *COUGH*. Seriously? Dude, I know I'm a very common, but I'm not that stupid. And everyone knows it was a raven dog who suggested it."

"Seriously! And the Tiger told the Raven about it! I'm not lying, dude!" Well at least he got that right. If he had called me dudet, I would go crazy.

"And what's wrong with taking the demand? At least the majority of petkind won't be bothered anymore."

"Think about Tess! She'll have to spend so much time trying to encourage people not to trade for those pets only, and might change the game completely!"

"Daniel, seriously. Who cares about Tess and the game? Me, not traded for = happy."

The universe is infinite, Tourmaline. There are more than users out there. Think your decision carefully. If CS comes popular, you could end up spreading madness to the human race.

OK OK, AT LEAST LET ME ACTUALLY THINK.

Alright, I can predict that now I know the whole Fight exists because some UR tiger wants all the demand on CS, this is going to unsettle me a lot more. Though yes, we are getting back to normal fights. Lemme take a look at the leaflet to see who's going up today... UR flower and Growing White July, interesting. Apparently they control life and age. Oh by the way, hi



Petal and Sarah, both female. Fitting!

"Announcing Petal and Sarah! Our newest competitors will unfortunately be subject to a lot more craziness, due to popular demand!" All previous winners will now be able to throw in whatever they want, as long as they announce it at least 5 seconds beforehand! Now let's hear the countdown!"

Gosh darn it Totoro. This is going to go badly.

The previous winners all come on - Jack, Red X, Mora, Chemo, Nuke, and whoever else had won since the year started. As the last 'winner', Nicky, comes on, the sequence hits zero and Sarah and Petal stroll on proudly. A moment of awkward silence happens before Petal plants herself in the ground and grows upwards. Apparently there's dirt, deep, deep underground from here downwards. Oh well, I feel sorry for the pets underground, having to watch roots fly through the middle of the room. The ground shakes as the whole arena feels like it's going to flip over. Sarah waits, almost oblivious to the EARTHQUAKE that is going on around her.

Suddenly, a voice comes from the winners' group - "I flood the arena with dilute citric acid!". Probably Chemo, as there's a green toxic leaning out and almost falling over.

Sarah her magic to levitate one of the bricks off the ground to the height of the audience; somewhere where Avian wouldn't allow it to rise to. As the orange juice acid rises onto Petal's stems, she- okay nothing happened to her. Expected of her powers. Petal then lashes out at Sarah, breaking the rock into halves. One falls into the acid pit below, while the GWJ stands up on her hind legs the the other.

"Hmph. That's all you have, Chemo? A cup of dilute C6H8O7? Anyone with something"

Sarah leaps off the rock and summons... a magical base? I guess? Or she might have adjusted the chemical formula of- ugh forget it. The juice turns into something like water, and most of it evaporates, allowing her to do a backflip onto the ground. She throws the same alkali onto the main stem of the huge flower, again with no effect. Petal says nothing and wraps a huge leaf-hand around Sarah, growing parts back as soon as the White July can bite them off.

"I change the temperature to 0 degrees!" Thermia?

The water freezes, turning the arena to an ice skating rink. Petal's leaf opens, dropping Sarah onto the ground from 20 feet up. Ouch. Then I look over to Petal. If Sarah deserved an ouch, Petal deserves a scream. Icicles form on her, starting off small and growing. In a minute or less, the UR flower's been frozen.

"That's the advantage of having fur, plant!" the White July yells. I just got an image of a gardener yelling that at a weed.

"Hey Night, is it weird I find that pretty?" I say in the middle of the gasping crowd.

No. But try not to sound like a sadist in the middle of everyone's shock.

"Sarah wins thanks to the help of Thermia! Petal is out!" Avian howls, descending.

I guess I should really write about what happens to winners. A rocky staircase seems to build downwards as Avian walks in that direction. Sarah strolls up onto it and seems to smirk at Thermia before taking Avian's paw, signing autographs and all that. Yada yada yada. Nothing that interesting.
