I use it for everything, and way too often. Half the time I'm supposedly doing math, I'm on Doll Divine or here on CS. *hides* *Skipper the penguin voice* You didn't see anything...

Anachronisms are bound to happen, so don't beat yourself up about it. Sometimes you just want to leave them in anyway, as long as they don't mess up the story. The only reason I know about the uniforms is because I've been doing research on the British Navy for my own projects. XP

Well, I can't judge what isn't there, so I just had to point out that I thought it could afford to be slower. It's understandable since you're still in the early drafts.

I eagerly await more elaborations!

While I do wish Thorton had a happier ending, it's your story and you know what's best. ^^ Though I do wish they would at least... close his eyes, or say a few words, or something - especially considering how superstitious sailors are about those things... Scarlet's reaction I can understand, but c'mon Vin! You should have some more respect for the dead. XP
And, I feel worse for Thorton - though let's be honest, it's totally his own fault for staying with Scarlet as long as did. XP I can definitely see the whole "enabler" thing - he really should've left a long time ago. That was pretty obvious. So... can't exactly blame poor Scarlet. Ah, I'm sure I'll feel more sorry for her as time goes on. X3 Right now I just want to grab her and shake her and yell: "Snap out of it! Show some emotion!" Though I understand why she's trying not too. But that's gonna be a whole other powder keg waiting to blow. Sometimes, you just make me so mad Scarlet. XD

I just figured they're near the end of the age of piracy and there were uniforms in POTC so I was like -shrug-

I know I usually just make excuses but I'm glad to hear that other people notice these things too, now I know for sure what to fix, you know?

Heyy he said a short prayer xD he has like zero experience with this, I mean he wasn't in the room when his step father died and the only other thing is his own father, whom he didn't know, and Imilia. So. Idk I think I might be struggling on the transition from "wow brave and heroic with good morals awesome" to "wow... he really has no idea what he's doing does he"
And as for Scarlet, when she loses it, she really loses it. Thorton wouldn't have wanted her to spiral back down and she knows that. She has delicate feelings lol if she gave in for longer than she did, she'd be gone. That's why she's so abrasive lol

Yeah, I've learned that movies aren't exactly the best source material. XP I haven't really sat down and watched those films in years, but I'm pretty sure they aren't the most accurate. But most films aren't. Then again, you can always write it whatever way you want.

I've been a huge fan if this for a long time, few months now. This is utterly amazing, you have a great gift for writing and I love your art. They're both wonderfully detailed.
