“Go straight to the store and don’t fool around,” his mother said sternly as she handed over the money. “Your father’s boss is coming to dinner tonight and we’re having his favorite meal of liver and onions. It’s important that we make a good impression, so get the best liver they’ve got.”
“I will, Ma,” Tommy sulked. His mother had really been after him since he brought home a failing report card.Tommy grabbed his bicycle from the garage and rode down then street. Then saw his friend Chad. “Come on, Tommy!” Chad called. “The gang’s playing baseball over at the park, and we need a pitcher.”
Immediately, all thoughts of his errand fled from Tommy’s mind. The boys headed towards the park. Tommy pitched a no-hitter to win the game for his team, but by the time it was over, it was dark. Then Tommy remembered his errand. “The liver!” he gasped. “I’ve got to get to the store!”
But, all the local groceries were closed. “My mom’s going to kill me,” he gasped. First the bad report card, and now this! He would be grounded for life.
As he rode home past the cemetery, he got an idea. It was an awful idea, but it would save him from the even more awful fate that awaited him if he came home without a liver. His great-uncle had died a few days ago and had been buried in the cemetery. What harm would it do to remove it? His uncle certainly didn’t need it anymore.
Tommy hurried home as silently as he could and got his father’s shovel. He returned to the cemetery and began digging up his great-uncle’s grave.
That night, his mother cooked up the liver and onions and the boss raved about the meal and had such a good time that he didn’t leave until quite late.
Tommy went to bed that night relieved he had gotten away with it. He fell asleep almost as soon as his head hit the pillow but woke with a start soon after, sure that he had heard a voice.
“Where’s my liver?” A ghostly voice rose up from the staircase, deep and guttural. Tommy gasped in fear and flung himself under the covers as the thud of heavy footsteps reached the top of the steps.
Thump. Thump. Thump. The footsteps drew nearer, until they reached Tommy’s door. “ Who’s got my liver?” the horrible voice asked again.
“Go away. Go away,” Tommy whispered repeatedly. His whole body trembled in terror as once more the voice asked, “Where’s my liver? Who’s got my liver?”
Sheer terror made him suddenly bold. Tommy threw back the covers and found the shriveled white face of his great-uncle right above him. “We ate your liver!” he shouted.
“I know you did, Tommy,” the rotting corpse of his great-uncle said softly, stretching out his bony hands toward the boy’s shaking body. Tommy screamed.
The next morning, Tommy’s parents discovered their son lying dead on top of his bed. His liver had been ripped right out of his body, but the autopsy proved that the boy had already died of fright before his liver was removed.

There once was a girl named Rose. She grew up in a loving family and led a peaceful life. That was until her 13th birthday.

Rose and her parents were driving home from her birthday dinner. It was late at night and Rose was happily chatting away to her parents. It was bad luck that her father was concentrating on what Rose was saying instead of focusing on the road. Her mother screamed, “LOOK OUT!” That was when Rose’s father turned around to see the two bright beams of a truck’s headlights rushing towards them. A split second later, the sound of screaming brakes and grinding metal filled Rose’s ears.

The reports all said that Rose was lucky to be alive. While her parents were killed on impact, she only suffered minor cuts and bruises, but the major damage was on the inside. Rose blamed herself for her parent’s death. She was the one talking, which distracted her father. She was the reason they were dead.

Rose was taken in by an orphanage. She was still beating herself up for what happened, and refused to talk. Filled with remorse, she visited her parent’s graves every Sunday. She would bring roses so that her parents would know that it was her that visited. She was an outcast at the orphanage. Some were scared of her, while others would tease her for being “Weird”.

A group of boys were especially nasty. They would follow her when she went to the graveyard on Sundays. They would attack her and torture her, knowing that she would suffer in silence.
One week, they took it too far. They took the roses she had laid on her parent’s graves and shoved them down her throat, suffocating her.

Realizing what they had done, they quickly took her body and buried her. Then things started to happen...

One by one the boys that had killed her started to see her in their dreams and when they were alone it would become silent. Then, a week after her death, one the boys were found dead with roses down his throat and he was surrounded with a ring of red rose petals. The next two boys suffered the same fate, one day after the next.

The final boy was laying awake in bed to escape the nightmares, when she appeared. She was wearing a white gown, stained with blood and she was holding a bunch of red roses. She staggered towards him, with a malevolent grin on her face. He went to scream, but couldn’t; she was making him suffer the way she did. She started to sing slowly, in a voice that sounded like nails on a blackboard “Ring, a ring of roses, a pocketful of posies, atishoo, atishoo, we all fall down.” During the song the boy fell to his knees and struggled to breathe. He took his last breath, then was still. She whispered under her breath, “We all fall down.”

One snowy, bitterly cold December night, a woman was driving home alone from a Christmas party. She had not had that much to drink, but she was very tired. The old road she was driving on was very dark and lonely, and it was surrounded by a forest. The woman groaned as she realized she was almost out of gas. She pulled over into a gas station a couple miles down the road. When she went in to pay (no self serve here!), the clerk was acting very weird. He filled her tank, then grabbed her and pulled her off to the side. "There is a problem with your card, and you need to come in so we can figure it out." The lady was scared now, and it didn't help when, after dragging her inside, he pulled a knife. The lady didn't stick around to find out why. She rushed to her car and sped off. In her rear view mirror, she saw him get into his pickup truck and follow her. She was very scared now. Every few minutes, he turned on his high beams, and her car was flooded with light. Eventually, in a last, desperate attempt to lose him, she veered left and then quickly made a screeching turn right, onto the private road that led to her house. It worked. Now that she could relax, she listened to the radio. The announcer informed the audience that there was an escaped convict, who was in for a mass murder he had committed. He was missing his right hand, and in it's place, he wore a hook. She was already scared enough, so tried to ignore this, although she thought in the back of her mind that it may be the gas station guy. Then she remembered: she had to baby sit that night! She hurried home, and when she got out, she stared in horror at a hook hanging from her door. Now she knew it was the gas station guy. She was glad she escaped that guy. She walked inside. "At least he didn't follow me" she thought. She could finally relax. She would put the kids to bed, then call the police and tell them what happened. It wasn't urgent, or so she thought, because she didn't know where he was anyways. When she put the children to bed, she didn't bother to turn on the lights, but she noticed a creepy clown statue." How could you like that? She thought? Oh well, it's their house." When she went downstairs to watch some T.V, she thought she saw footprints besides hers leading away from her car. She was tired, so she ignored it. She forgot all about her little run-in at the gas station. She was just drifting to sleep when the phone rang. Maybe it's the parents, and I can go home soon. At least I live a only few blocks down." It wasn't the parents. An unfamiliar voice spoke to her. "I'm coming to kill you soon." Heavy breathing, then a dial tone. She thought nothing of it, just a prank call. When it happened again, and he replaced "soon" with " in a few minutes" she got scared. "If it's my friends, I'll kill them." A little while later, just when she was getting into the television program, she thought she saw a clown standing just outside her window. She called a neighbor, but they didn't see anything outside the house. "Man, I'm so tired I'm hallucinating" She thought. Not ten seconds after she hung up, the phone rang again. It was the stranger. "I'm almost there" he said. Now the girl was scared. This wasn't one of her friends, they wouldn’t go this far with it. She called the police, and informed them of what had happened. The policeman on the other end told her that they would call back after they traced his next call. The girl went to the kitchen and grabbed a butcher knife. She was freaked out. She sat huddled in the corner, and completely forgot about the kids. Then, her stomach dropped the phone began to ring. She sat there, staring at it, not wanting to answer it. But she had to, so the police could trace it. " Hello?" she said feebly. " It won't be long now." he said. The girl was scared to tears. The police called. "Get out of the house! Those calls are coming from a cell phone upstairs!" The girl screamed when she heard a door open upstairs, and saw a bloody clown walking down the stairs. She ran out, and down the road, she ran into the police cars. They found the killer, and confirmed that the killer was the escaped one they were looking for. They found a grocery bag with a knife, clown wig, and cell phone upstairs. The kids were dead, with blood splattered all over the walls. The girl realized that the killer was in her car, and that was the reason for the gas station clerk's odd behavior. Those were the killer's footprints, and he was standing right behind her, not outside the window. It was his hook. When they loaded him into the police car, he said, " Call you back later."

That night, at her home, of course the girl was so scared she could not sleep. Then, as she was watching the news, a breaking story came in. "The policemen taking the convicted murderer back to jail were found dead, and the killer was nowhere in sight." The girl started to cry. "Oh no!" she ran downstairs, only to find the door slightly open, and big, clown shoe sized bloody and snowy footprints came into her house. She turned around, and the phone rang...........

Alright this happened 2 years ago when my little brother was 3 and into Tellytubes. He had Tinkie Winkie I think? And would always leave it out around the house and if you put it away he would spazz. So he was at our grandma's house doing something else but that's not important. I was sitting at home, playing on the computer and the Tinkie Winkie started going off yelling random phrases that I had heard it say alot when someone squeezed it. I rolled my eyes and threw my shoe at it "Shh doll shh!" I laughed, no I wouldn't throw anything at a living creature but anyway it finally went quiet. Then out of nowhere the doll was flung towards me, I got scared so I took it and threw it outside. It landed near my dog and that was one of the last times I seen that awfull Tinkie Winkie Doll.

*True Story*

My four friends, Ashley, Krissy, Lila, and Haley, and I were at Ashley's slumber-party at a clubhouse. I'd done my research for ghost sitings, murders, etc. that had happened in that area. I always do that for some reason, it's like a tradition for me. I'd found that a teenage serial killer named Randolf had killed about ten people there, and had committed suicide there as well.
We were all inside, and we decided to play flash-light tag in the dark outside. We went outside with our flashlights and began to play. My friends, Lila and Haley, had sort of a "sixth-sense". I know what your thinking. "Those aren't real, ghosts aren't real." I think those who don't believe, are just scared too. It was never proven that they don't exist. Anyway, they could, I guess you could say "Hear and see" ghosts who want to be invisible.
I told my friends the story about the murder there when we paused the game to rest. It was extremely dark now. After I described what Randolf looked like, Haley and Lila looked at each other with mouths dropped. Haley looked at me with wide eyes. You could tell it wasn't a fake-frightened look. "Cars [my nickname], I think I saw him..." She said, pointing down at a place between the lake and the playground.
We heard a sudden creak of a swing. She turned and saw all of the swings moving at the same time. We convinced ourselves it was the wind. We continued our game. Then we heard Ashley scream. We all ran over to her, and she was on the ground. We asked her what happened. She said she ran into a pale teenager with pure black hair covering his eyes, with a long black coat, black boots, and black pants. We looked at each other.
We decided to say it was just a person checking out the clubhouse. We didn't want to stop our games. We played Hide-and-Seek. That all went well. Then we played Follow-the-leader. We followed Krissy. We heard a bush near us rattle. We looked all around, but nothing else was around. There wasn't a gust of wind....
Then we saw a black shape in front of us. We screamed. We ran to the play-ground. I got hit in the head with a swing. [I was caught off guard, I swear!] We screamed again when we heard demonic laughter and darted inside. We saw faces... shapes... heard things... It was the whole time we were there.
We promised we would never go there alone...
We still wonder what, or who, was doing all of those things.

So basically, I sleepwalk. Also sleeptalk, etc. Except for I'm literally insane as soon as I go to bed, until I wake up.

I have woken up in the middle of the night (countless times) seeing various oddities. I'm really hard to scare. I laugh at scary movies. But what I see, is horrifying. There have been instances where I've cried. Pretty lame... I know.

Anyways, one of my most horrific tales is exactly as I saw it. I didn't know if it was actually there or not, but I saw it heard it, and felt it.

I found myself awake, and It was apparent I had sleepwalked into the hallway of my house. It was completely dark, except for the moonlight faintly lighting up the inside of my house, basically just enough where you can see what something is. Something had scared me, or so I remembered-- causing me to leave my room. I stood there for quite literally hours, not moving a muscle. I was deathly afraid of something I had seen. Keep in mind, that I didn't know exactly what it was, I was just thrown into this situation, knowing something had frightened me. Finally, after I almost collapsed from tire, I had the courage to open my door. I walked inside, closing my eyes as I walked into the darkness. I had my eyes closed because I hate having my eyes open in darkness. I always have the aching feeling something is going to scare the living hell out of me. I reached for the light switch, and was unable to find it in the dark. In this instance, I had to open my eyes to find the switch.

That was a huge mistake. I saw a faint outline of a girl. With yellow hazed eyes, making an eerie hissing noise. She was shaking, and it almost sounded like she was speaking in a different sort of mumbled language. She was staring at me. She was starting to move towards me, in a crawling motion. Very quickly. Her eyes were growing whiter, brighter, etc. I freaked out, and immediately rushed for the light switch. As soon as I turned it on, she was gone. (Thank. bloody. hell.)

I went to bed and that was the last thing I remembered...

I don't know if my mind was playing tricks on me, I'm almost 90% sure it was. D:

I was having a sleepover with my older sister's friends. As it was getting late, we saw something outside our backyard door. It was a tall figure with a knife in his hand. I didn't see him more than 1 minute. We were so scared we went to ask if we could sleep in Mom's bedroom, but MOM wasn't so excited at that suggestion. We decided to sleep in my room. Not all of us fell asleep quickly, but we did fall asleep eventually. My sister reported to me that an angel was above our pool outside. That really happened to me, it wasn't something from a website or book. D:

(seriously true story)

last year, my best friend came over to my house. at some point, i left the room to get a glass of water, and when i came back my sister walked in, and told us that she had seen a ghost.(my sister beleives in ghosts even though she's eleven and my parents have told her a million times they're not real) i didn't beileve her, but just for fun we grabbed a bunch of my sister's walkie-talkies that were supposed to help you 'contact ghosts'. we placed one in my room, and one in my sister's room. the three of us sat on my bed with the walkie-talkie between us, and talked for a few minutes, before we heard a weird noise and looked at it, now listening. for a few seconds, there was complete silence, and then we heard the sound of a barking dog. i thought it was my dog, Reese, but then he came out from under my bed, where he had been napping this whole time. we got seriously freaked out, and never used those again.

Maybe it was a neighbor's dog.
