~Amy~

So... The weird knight guy took me back to Popularit. He brought me to Sally's throne. Which, the style changed in Popularit to warrior chique. So that's the new look I have.
Sally: How dare you commit treason?! Me: I'm innocent. Sally: The spies spying on Queen Xura's spies which are spying on her spies's spies are spying on you! So I know your guilty.Me: Okay then. Uh... I'm really just a common- She threw her shoe at me. Instinct kicked in and I grabbed it in mid-air.
Sally: You shouldn't, like, lie to your queen. Spies have, like, totes quick instincts. Me:
Sally: You totes did, like, not roll your eyes at your queen.Me: No, of course not. I just wanted to see what the back of my head looked like. Pfft.
Sally: Well fine then. But now I bring you a choice. You could either be, a like, total loser and be in the dungeon forever, or you could, like, work off your debt with one small deed. Me: Uh.... What's the small deed? Sally: You have to, like, go back to Xura's kingdom and kidnap her. Then, bring her back here and I will threaten her people and stuff.Me: What?! That's crazy- I can't- I won't- I mean...Sally: You'll do it if you care about your future. You were, like, gonna lose your land anyway. Me: ....I- I- No. I won't do it. Sally: How dare you say no to your queen?! Whatever. I'll still get you to do it. She put her arm around me and led me over to her diamond window.
Sally: Part of the land we conquer will be all yours to rule if you simply listen to me. You'll even get your own castle. She curled open my closed fists and stuck a small bottle into them.
Sally: This is all you need. Pour some in her drink and she will fall into a slumber like death for a few hours- long enough to bring her back here. She will, like, never know what hit her. I stared at the bottle and at the land in front of me. Was this my destiny? Was betraying a friend the only way to power?
Me: I- I- .... I'll do it. Sally: Just before midnight. Be quick.I rode off. This will benefit my generation. I have to do this... I just have to.
I made it there and It looked like the ball was about to start. I went into the open door's of the castle. I was greeted by one of the Queen's servants.
~Lizzy~

Okay so I'm looking at this really cute duke named Matthew. He's been sparring all day! I just have to record everything going on!
Me: Hello! Welcome to the queen's annual birthday celebration.I shook the lady's hand. It looked like she was from Popularit. She had warrior chique on.
It kinda stunk that I would have to do this all day. Why was life so terribly unfair? I only want to be with my beloved Matthew. Ahh.. But even though I have my love for him, I am only but a hopeless romantic for I can never be with him. Why? Because-
Child: Look mother! It's a servant. Aren't they at the lowest part in the ladder of society? Well... That kinda explains it. Matthew is a Duke and thats just under royalty. Plus, I'm sure he wouldn't be intrested. Sigh. Now to drown in my sad hopeless romantic world.
I saw Silver, the jesteress, come out to talk with me. She stole this sheet of paper from my paws.
Me: SILVER! give that back! Silver: I'd be a fool to do that! *reads, reads, reads* Your a hopeless romantic?! *gets on floor flailing and laughing* Me: ;-; Not cool silver. Way not cool. Silver: No! No! I'm laughing because I'm a hopeless romantic too! He's a cat named prince. I don't think he'll be here tonight though. Me: Ahh.... I see... Awkward moment of silence.
Me: Silver and prince sitting in a tree! K- I- S- S- I- N- G! She cuffed my mouth.
Silver: Be quiet! People were staring at us. We moved into the castle.
Silver: Your ridiculous, Elizibeth. Me: Pfft. We both are. We're hopeless hopeless romantics.Silver: lol. Me: Lol?Silver: Laugh out loud. I invented the word.Me: That's cool. Lol.We laughed. We were such dorks and we made quite the pair.
Silver: Would you help me with my act?Me: Will it get Matthew's attention? Silver:
Maybe.Me: Then I'm in! We laughed and talked about our crushes. We then saw Queen Xura come down the many castle steps:

She had a black cloak on, and 2 ladies in waiting followed her:

There was also a scribe... Who fell down the steps:

I went to go help her up. Luckily, everyone had their eyes fixed on Queen Xura.
Xura: My people. You are gathered here on behalf of an event that occurred 16 years ago. Look at how we've grown as a nation. Let us celebrate now, and I was speak again later. Speak again later? That wasn't apart of the schedule. I was standing in thought, but then someone called me.
Matthew: Servant! Come hither! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Matthew just called me! *faints*
I grabbed my serving tray. I did my best curtsy. He grabbed food off my tray. I blushed and hid my face behind my hair.
He then did something I wouldn't expect. He pushed my hair back.
Matthew: You look better like that. What's your name?Me: umm... It's uh.. Elizibeth. You can call me Lizzy though. Matthew: I'm Matthew. Do you know how to dance? Could you teach me? Me: Totally! Matthew: Unfortunately, I'm a better fencer than I am a dancer. I have two left feet. Me: *sets down tray of food* I have two right feet to set you straight. Now this is just like close fencing. What you do is, you move your feet forward and backward. Just like you'd advance or retreat in your fencing steps. But in this, you have to be aware of the other dog's feet. So step in line with them. Then, you put your hands around the lady's waist. And you lean forward and press against their chest- Our faces came close. And there was a dramatic pause between us.
Me: Just.. like.. that...Then we just fell into dancing. He spun me around and we slowly drifted across the room.
Me: *I released my arms from his waist* I-I we shouldn't be doing this... I'm only a servant- I just- you deserve someone better than me. I ran away into the courtyard, I wept quietly. I had just turned away from all I ever wanted. I saw him come out.
Matthew: You know, I actually enjoyed dancing with you. Me: I bet I did more. But I'm a lowly servant- I don't even have a dress! Matthew: You don't need a dress. And if my parents taught me anything it was this: It doesn't matter what class, finding love is what matters. Elizibeth, I could marry a Marquis or a servant and they would still end up being a duchess. My duchess. Class doesn't matter. Your graceful and sweet. I've been watching you as I fenced, your kind and have a smooth voice.Me: Really? Matthew: Truly. He came over and started dancing in the courtyard with me. It was a Truely romantic moment. I saw Heather smiling encouragingly over at me. The ladies in waiting were always kind.
~Heather~

How sweet. Lizzy found love. I'm so proud of her. It was fun to stand in the courtyard during these parties. It was full of love and romance. Even queen Xura had a heart for a young knight. She tells me about her adoring love for him. It's funny too.
In fact earlier, before I left and Jake came into the room, we were just talking about him:
Me: He's sure to love the dress you'll be wearing. Xura: You think so? Me: My queen, he always will. He loves you. Xura: Oh. You can't know that! I gave her look.
Me: Anyone can tell you that. Just make sure you be yourself. I'll be in the courtyard tonight as well. Don't worry.Xura: You've always been such a darling friend Heather, thank you. Have you found anyone you like? Me: No. I don't think I have a chance. Xura: Oh don't give up hope. Your a pretty lady. For all you know, you could meet someone tonight.I went to put her crown on her head. She stopped me and did it herself.
Xura: Heather. Don't worry about me. You have a future, go make it. And don't let anything or anyone stop you. I have Ace helping me anyway. Why don't you go downstairs and check the preparations? Then you could have the night off. Me: Are you sure? Xura: I insist. Go have fun. I left and I haven't found anyone who'd like me. Of course, that's expected, I mean I'm very self-centered and bossy. But I enjoyed watching all the events.
I then saw something, it looked like Amy, the queen's spy. She seemed to be weeping and struggling with something. I walked over near her.
Me: Are you okay?Amy: Ekk! Oof! AGH! *she fell, got up and dusted herself off* I mean ahhh... Hi there...Me: What are you doing?Amy: Pfft... You know... Nothing out of the ordinary *looks around the room* Me: ... I grabbed the things in her hand before she could say anything.
Amy: Hey! Give those back! She had a bottle of dark magic, and the queen's royal cup. The bottle read:
Queen Sally's knock-out potion. Slumber like death, works for 8 hours.
No refunds
Me: Your a traitor! Amy: *cuffs mouth* I'm not. I'm not going to do it. Queen Sally promised me a kingdom and no prison if I do this, but I just can't. Me: What? Why didn't you immediately tell the queen? Amy: it was an offer to be considered. I don't go easily betraying... I'm not going to do it... But even you would go to extremes for greed. I've been poor all my life... And when your that desperate for a future, you don't let anything stop you. Suddenly, Queen Xura's words rang in my ears:
“Heather. Don't worry about me. You have a future, go make it. And don't let anything or anyone stop you.”
Me: Your right... Amy: See? Wait.... What? Me: I'll strike at 12:00.. Your either with me or against me.Amy: Huh?! You can't do that! I-I- I won't let you! Me: You don't have a choice. Amy: Well how are you gonna stop me from stopping you? Me: Like this! I punched her in the face and dragged her into a closet at the 6th level of the castle. I went downstairs and back outside... I'll write more about it later.
~Xura~

I saw Heather lean against the side column. She looked content but also kind of lonely. I wanted to go talk to her but Jake was walking over to me.
Jake: the night is beautiful. Me: Yes, indeed it is. We looked up into the sky. Jake reached out suddenly and held my paw. I blushed. Crickets were chirping and fireflies fluttered around the courtyard pond.
He picked up a flower that had brilliantly glowing fireflies in it and handed me it.
I took off my cloak and the flower in my hair and I let it drift away in the pond

We took a moment of silence. He leaned in and kissed me. I suddenly got a trickling feeling down my spine. I stayed for a moment, then gently pushed him back.
Me: Jake. My kingdom is in peril. And there is a chance we shall not be together. Jake: What do you mean? That doesn't have any relevance to us.Me: No, Jake. Sally is plotting. There's a kingdom not far from here that is ruled by another, a male fellow. I looked down.
Me: To protect the kingdom I may have to marry.
Jake: what?! Me: ... I'm sorry.. I ran into the castle, I couldn't bear the pressure of it anymore. I had been thinking about this all day since I received news of Sally. I didn't know how to brake it to him. Poor Jake, he dropped the glittering flower full of fireflies into the pond. It became dim and he sat there alone with his shoulders drooping. I felt awful, and ran up to my room. I saw Heather run up after me.
I fell unto my bed. I've never been this upset. I'm too sad to write about it...
~Heather~

This was my chance. I took the Queen's goblet and I filled it with grape juice, then I poured in the dark magic. I entered the room and set the cup down by her bed.
Xura: Go away. Me: My queen, I only wish to help. Xura: And you can help by going away. I don't want to talk.Me: Well, sometimes talking makes it better. Xura: and sometimes it doesn't. Go away.Me: Are you sure? Would you even like a drink?
Xura: Yes and no. I thirst not. Me: Your going to have to come downstairs sometime, people are going to start asking questions. Yes, we're all young and have our emotional days but your job as a queen is to pull it together and make it downstairs. Xura: *sighs* I'll come down later. Do me a favor and send my spy. Oh no. Her spy? Shoot.
Me: I'll go look for her. It's Amy, right? Xura: Yes, and don't come back until you find her please. I know she's attending the party tonight so it shouldn't be too hard. Me: Alright. Darn. I went to the 6th level of the castle and opened the closet I locked her in. She was tied up with rope just like I left her. I undid the mouth tie.
Amy: What are you doing? Me: I need you in order for the plan to work. Amy: well, I won't do it. I can't be apart of it. Me: How did Queen Sally's castle look?Amy: Well, for the most part, kinda old. The patterns looked just like her, but I did appreciate the fluffy white carpet. The gold throne is a bore but the chandelier is gorgeously laid with diamonds. The torches need a different kind of wood, and the gray walls need some wallpaper. The diamond windows are nice but they need better curtains- not one ones matching Sally's icky dress. And where are you going with this? Me: We could rule together. Sally's not going to kill the Queen. Kidnap her and just make her kingdom go to war. It's not hurting the Queen. We'll get our own castle to do our own decorating. Only if you help me now. Amy: Hmm... very well. What do you need me to do? Me: *untying her ropes* the Queen has requested your presence. I already put the drink in the room. So go get yourself a cup of tea and put it in a gold cup. The queen's cup is silver. Amy went and did that. She entered the Queen's room. I'll write more about it later.
~Amy~

So um... I entered the room. The Queen looked so sad just lying there on her bed.
Me: Your majesty. I am here. She sat up.
Xura: Hast Queen Sally found out about you? Me: No. Ugh. I hate lying to her.
Xura: Good. Are we safe? Me: I'd like to say so but Queen Sally always has plans. Plans that you would least expect. Xura: Well I'm glad I can at least trust you. Me: Yes, as am I. Was trading a friend for a castle really worth it?
Xura: *picks up cup* Let's have a toast. To a bright and hopeful future... And to friendship. We knocked our cups and drank. The Queen's eyes became droopy, and she set down the cup.
She fell into a deep slumber and Heather came into the room.
Heather: Are you ready? Me: Are you? We loaded her into a carriage and set off. All the way, feeling more guilty than we could stomach.
