It was a dark Friday night in Michigan. Andy, Max, and Carol were college students who were going to a party in the town over from them. As they drove it began to rain. And soon they were driving on a lonely country road.
"Lets go back, Andy!" Carol said, starting to wonder if they were lost.
"Calm down, Carol. We'll be there soon. I saw a sign back there saying there is only 20 miles left." Andy grinned. Carol sighed. Suddenly, Max cried out.
"Hey! Theres a girl standing in the rain over there!" He said. Carol followed his pointing finger and saw a young woman wearing a dress standing on the roadside.
"Pull over Andy." She said. Andy stopped the car in front of the girl, and rolled down the window.
"Want a ride?" He asked.
"Yes" Was the simple reply. Max moved over to make room for the girl in the back seat, who sat down beside him. Carol turned in her seat.
"Whats your name?" She askes.
"Tina" The girl said....

Something similair happened to my Grandpa when he was around 25 when this happened.
So my Grandpa was driving in his convertable car with out the top on and he saw a young lady standing by a busstop. The bus for the bus stop
had broken down so my Grandpa decided to offer her a ride. The girl accepted the offer. She said her name was Linzie Parker and she was 19.So there was a big bump coming up and my Grandpa warned Linzie to hold the girl to hold on since this was before seat belts. The bump came and it was a BIG bump.My Grandpa looked around but Linzie was gone! There was only her purse. My grandpa looked in her walet for her adress. He drove over to her house he knocked on the door and a woman who looked about 60 opened the door.My Grandpa told her that Linzy left her purse in his car when he picked her up.The lady asked my Grandpa to discribe Linzy. My granpa did descibe her.The lady turned white and said "Sir,Linzy has been dead for 10 years. She was hit by a drunk driver by Homers Hill(Thats what people called the bbig bump)she died before any one could save her.She had her purse with her but they neverfound her purse. We only knew it was Linzie since she had her library card in her pocket." My Grandpa gave her Linzys purse and walked slowly away.
My Grandpa never told anyone this story entill he got married and had kids.He told this story to my Dad and his brothers and sisters.(Which he told to me)
