On the subject of "evil" names, I've always liked names that can represent something like "traitor", or simply the meaning of their name means something like "snake" or "spider". I usually pick something that I'm either afraid of, or dig around with religious names to find some symbolism there. It will vary with what religion you have, I don't stand by any, since I think you should believe in what you believe in, and have the free will to choose your religion without being hassled, so really, I use a wide variety of symbolic names. The problem with using names that come from a specific religion, is that you'd almost have to tell one of the stories to make someone understand your symbolism, since not everyone will get what you're trying to poke at. However, if you want it to be a mystery, and leave it to those who can figure it out on their own, then that's up to the writer c:

Yeah, I'm an atheist xD I'm really not good with his name though, I like Gog Ammun, but I'm always open to new ideas because I am probably going to amass a list of names and then pick from those.

So if anyone else has any ideas, I'd love to hear it <3

The name Slater alway's for some reason reminds me of a snake although it means something close to roof slater. I dunno but it's a charrie I used in one of my RP's and I really don't mind if you use it cause I highly doubt I'll use it ever aside from that RP XD

I've always found the name "Caine" to be something of a bad kind of character. Or Heath.

Caine.. I like it! Btw Rose, your book is so good so far <3 I've really only changed words into their real tense like shined into shone, and rephrased some things so that it reads better. I also have added notes for you to look at. But i've only manged to get to page 11 xD I'm lazy.

Yeah I'm pretty bad about switching tense, when I write the characters just kind of take over themselves xD.
I love Caine <3. Caine is one of my favorite names for a male character. That and Jack. xD

I'm usually very good at keeping the tense right, and my grammar/punctuation is usually pretty good. But I have problems with description. I'm a blunt person, so my writing is very blunt too. It's annoying when you need at least 5000 words for a chapter, and you have to have more stuff happen to substitute the lack of description. I give enough to put a picture in your head, and then I go straight to the point. >.<
