I Got It
Jasmine Alexandra Rodriguez smiled as she looked into the pet shop window. Fourteen puppies stared back at her from their cages and she told her mom, 'Let's go in." Her mother took Jasmine's hand but she yanked it away. "I'm ten, Mom. Stop holding my hand." Jasmine ran into the pet store and the bell above the door chimed. Jasmien instantly ran over to the puppies cages and looked over the fourteen bundles that all wanted to go home with her.
There were three Boxers, four Dalmations, two German Shepherd's, and four mixed breed dogs. Jasmine frowned. There had been fourteen before. Then there was a small growl and one of the Boxers was knocked down by the largest puppy. Jasmine smiled. She knew what it looked like. The puppy looked 90 percent wolf, maybe 10 percent German Shepherd but 100 percent stunning. It had a beautiful black coat and even more amazing, when the puppy faced Jasmine, red eyes stared back at her. No other dog she knew had red eyes and such a black coat. She needed this dog!
Jasmine alerted her mother who ran over to see Jasmine's choice. Her mother clapped her hands together and said, "This is an amazing dog. Are you sure you can take care of it?" Jasmiens ighed. "Yes, Mom."
Her mother clapped again. "Slendid. I'll get the cashier over here, now!" Jasmine watched her mother leave then she picked up the wolf-dog. It was bigger then she thought and quite heavy but she managed to put it down in an area Jasmien knew was the "Puppy Greeting Area" from looking for a potential puppy to many times.
THe wolf-dog growled and snapped at Jasmine btu she thought it was just playing. She ran aroundthe area grabbing a red collar with black studs on it and bringign it to her new dog.
She tried to place it on the dog when the dog snapped at her. Jasmin dropped the collar and started to cry out as the wolf-dog bit her leg. A large gash appeared and blood poured out. Suddenly the dog got bigger and bigger . . . Jasmine passed out.
Jasmine's mother, Kendra quickly alerted a cashier who walked back with her to get the puppy out of the cage. The puppy was alreayd in the Greeting Area though and Kendra was left scratchign her head. The puppy had gotten larger. It seemed very obvious. The dog now took up half of the greeting area's space with it's large bulk.
"Oh that's our only dog. He's been here for three years. No ones wanted him. Everyone said he was too fiesty." The cashier said. She looked down at the dog then sighed. "You have a daughter?" Kendra nodded. "Jasmien, right over there." Jasmien sat in a chair that overlooked the greeting area. "This dog might be too much for your daughter btu I can't keep you from buying it." The cashier left saying she owuld get the paperowrk.
Kendra looked down at the wolf-dog who's eyes softened under her gaze. The dog stood up and started barkign frantically at the bars of the greeting area dog fence. Kendra just walked oveer to her daughter. Shegasped as she saw the blood stain all over her leg, hidden from her previous position. A dog collar with a gold plate on it sat next to her foot. It had two names.
Jassmine and Lucifer.
Suddenly the dog looked at Kendra and barked. Kendra looked down at the ground again. Another dog collar sat, looking like it had come off the rack.
Lucifer and Jasmine/
Kendra gasped as she realized the truth. She daughter hadhad been taken over. The dog was her daughter. And her daughter's body was- There was a clanging of metal as the chair fell to the ground. Kendra turned and watched her daughter's body get up and smile, blood dripping down her face. "Mom, I told you I could make decisonns. Good decisons."
