I Got It

Jasmine Alexandra Rodriguez smiled as she looked into the pet shop window. Fourteen puppies stared back at her from their cages and she told her mom, 'Let's go in." Her mother took Jasmine's hand but she yanked it away. "I'm ten, Mom. Stop holding my hand." Jasmine ran into the pet store and the bell above the door chimed. Jasmien instantly ran over to the puppies cages and looked over the fourteen bundles that all wanted to go home with her.
There were three Boxers, four Dalmations, two German Shepherd's, and four mixed breed dogs. Jasmine frowned. There had been fourteen before. Then there was a small growl and one of the Boxers was knocked down by the largest puppy. Jasmine smiled. She knew what it looked like. The puppy looked 90 percent wolf, maybe 10 percent German Shepherd but 100 percent stunning. It had a beautiful black coat and even more amazing, when the puppy faced Jasmine, red eyes stared back at her. No other dog she knew had red eyes and such a black coat. She needed this dog!

Jasmine alerted her mother who ran over to see Jasmine's choice. Her mother clapped her hands together and said, "This is an amazing dog. Are you sure you can take care of it?" Jasmiens ighed. "Yes, Mom."
Her mother clapped again. "Slendid. I'll get the cashier over here, now!" Jasmine watched her mother leave then she picked up the wolf-dog. It was bigger then she thought and quite heavy but she managed to put it down in an area Jasmien knew was the "Puppy Greeting Area" from looking for a potential puppy to many times.
THe wolf-dog growled and snapped at Jasmine btu she thought it was just playing. She ran aroundthe area grabbing a red collar with black studs on it and bringign it to her new dog.
She tried to place it on the dog when the dog snapped at her. Jasmin dropped the collar and started to cry out as the wolf-dog bit her leg. A large gash appeared and blood poured out. Suddenly the dog got bigger and bigger . . . Jasmine passed out.

Jasmine's mother, Kendra quickly alerted a cashier who walked back with her to get the puppy out of the cage. The puppy was alreayd in the Greeting Area though and Kendra was left scratchign her head. The puppy had gotten larger. It seemed very obvious. The dog now took up half of the greeting area's space with it's large bulk.
"Oh that's our only dog. He's been here for three years. No ones wanted him. Everyone said he was too fiesty." The cashier said. She looked down at the dog then sighed. "You have a daughter?" Kendra nodded. "Jasmien, right over there." Jasmien sat in a chair that overlooked the greeting area. "This dog might be too much for your daughter btu I can't keep you from buying it." The cashier left saying she owuld get the paperowrk.

Kendra looked down at the wolf-dog who's eyes softened under her gaze. The dog stood up and started barkign frantically at the bars of the greeting area dog fence. Kendra just walked oveer to her daughter. Shegasped as she saw the blood stain all over her leg, hidden from her previous position. A dog collar with a gold plate on it sat next to her foot. It had two names.

Jassmine and Lucifer.

Suddenly the dog looked at Kendra and barked. Kendra looked down at the ground again. Another dog collar sat, looking like it had come off the rack.

Lucifer and Jasmine/

Kendra gasped as she realized the truth. She daughter hadhad been taken over. The dog was her daughter. And her daughter's body was- There was a clanging of metal as the chair fell to the ground. Kendra turned and watched her daughter's body get up and smile, blood dripping down her face. "Mom, I told you I could make decisonns. Good decisons."

Thankies. I've always had the idea of a spirit wolf who was secretly the Devil or a demon but never really thought about it. I was going to write a werewolf story about a werewolf cult who got their powers from Lucifer but the plot got mixed up and I didn't have the patience.

Those DarkNights When People Don't Realize They're Going To Die

Erica and John had just gotten married. They rolled away from the church in a shiny black limo with the driver. He dropped them off at their house where a new shiny Corvette sat in the driveway. John smiled and kissed Erica on the cheek. "Happy 0th Anniversary!" John exclaimed and Erica blushed.
"Most people don't have 0th anniversaries, John. I guess we aren't like most people." Erica said. She kissed John and the couple, still in a wedding dress and tuxedo ran to the car which was parked in front of their also brand new house.
john started the Corvette and Erica smiled. "Feel like a country drive?" John asked. Erica nodded and they drove off down the road. John turned off onto a small road that lead down to a group of farms which had forest near the road but fields farther back into private property. John and Erica didn't really care that their country drive was surrounded by trees. They were together and neither realized the mailboxes and farm's had stopped a few miles back. It was getting dark when erica finally spoke about their wheereabouts.
"John, I think we should go back home to celebrate. It's getting dark and this road is giving me the creeps now." She rubbed her shoulders. "And this wedding dress uncomfortable to sit in for hours." JOhn put his arm around Erica's seat and just sighed.
"Just a few more minutes." Suddenly the road turned violent and the gasphalt turned to gravel. It got bumpier and Erica forwned at John. He sighed. "Fine, we'll turn back now. Let me just find a place to pull into so we can back out . . ." The car was shooken by a large wind and Erica shrieked.
The trees rustled and she tried to shrink lowerr into her seat. "I hate this. let's go home, now!"
John looked at her and nodded. "I'm trying, baby."

He looked back but a shadow covered the road. "I can't see good enough. I'll go out and see where we can turn around in." John unfastened his seatbelt and opened the low door. His head hit the top of the car and he cursed as he slammed the car door. Erica pouted in her passenger seat and looked through the rearview mirror to try and see John. He was scouting around when there was a loud bang. A tree beside the carfell down. it was a large oak. Erica instant;y went into panic mode.

Oaks did not just fall down by themselves. She tried to look back but a large mass blocked the window. There was a scream and the fur moved. Erica screamed. She could see John. His face was bleeding terribley and his arm was terribley disfigured. A giant wolf stared back at her and it's human-like hands gripped the car. It howled and tried to rock the cra. erica screamed and screamed. She didn't dare try to reach her cellphone in the back of the car where the monster was and John had taken his with him.
She screamed as logn as the shaking continued and suddenly, the car stood still. Dawn peaked over the horizon and Erica's tear-stained face was almost afraid to look at it. But when she turned around the monster was gone. And John was in it's place.

He didn't even look like John anymore. Erica sobbed again but her mascara had already been caked on her face.
She turned around slightly and froze. On the car's back window a message wa written in blood.

Do not trespass the werewolf's territory at Midnight. You will pay again.
