Delicious
Jenny loved hard candy. It was her favourite thing to snack on. Her absolute favourite type was a Super Blast candy. They were little and round, no bigger than the average pinkie nail. Putting just one on your tounge would send such a sour shock through a body, some people would fall straight down. The packages were bright and colourful, with a label that said "Swallow at your own risk!" Each one held about fifty candies.
One day after school, Jenny decided to buy a packet of red Super Blast. Running home from the store, she decided to test herself. Just how many candies could she stand? When she arrived up home, Jenny skipped into her bathroom. She ripped open the package, and dumped it into her little mouth. She felt as if she had been bitten by a snake. Her body went into a spasm. Coughing and jittering, she spat into the the garbage can. She walked to the sink and spat again. Red sticky liquid made it's way down the drain. Her tounge still felt like it was on fire. She turned the tap on, garbled some cool water and spat again. Water mixed with red swiveled away. Even the cool touch didn't distinguish the invisible Super Blast flames dancing in her mouth. Behind the horrendous pain jumped a taste; tangy and metallic. Jenny spat again, more deep red fluid came. It wasn't saliva died candy red, it was blood. She opened her mouth to find a raw tounge with huge gashes. The acid from the candy had been wearing away at her flesh. The blood began to flow, dripping out of her mouth like a rain storm. Her head grew light, and she fell over to her death. Her parents found her in a pool of blood, with an empty Super Blast wrapper lying beside her.
I had fun writing that.
