Honestly, if you're going solely on heroes, perhaps add in Thistlenose and Knotpaw. We haven't met the other potential main characters yet in this story.

Sparklesthepanda wrote:Even though I missed quite a few choices, they (for the most part) would be what I would have chosen so I'm pretty fine with it, xD. I like the name Aster-, I've never seen it before so I find it unique and interesting c:

Yeah, that's one of the troubles of this thing. You gotta be on the ball if you want to have input for everything.

Comettail76 wrote:Aster is a flower. Not my first choice, but at least it isn't Lavender-, which was my least favorite of the options due to it making me think of a pastel purple molly.

For further clarification, this is a blue aster, what our cat is named for.

Yeah, that's reasonable c: And that flower's pretty ^^ I went over the choices that were made when I was absent and looking at the names I knew I wouldn't of chosen Lavender- or Juniper-, I just always associate mollies with them as well. The other ones I'd heard many times before, so I was glad to hear that the name ended up being Aster-

Oh! And I'm super excited to hear that this is going to be an ark of sorts! I'm so glad just to be a member in this, so the fact that it's a long, well-developed story makes me even happier c:

The basic premise of traditionalism (the naming system this game, and all games I've set up, take after) is that a prefix means nothing but color. So if a tom is named Daisyclaw, for example, his name is literally "White cat who's good at fighting". That said, I can totally see what you mean (though I've always been fond of Juniper- for toms).

There's 6 "arcs", each dealing with a different subplot. The overall arc is to get home, but the first five deal with much more than that.

Okay. I'll do Rookpaw, Asterpaw, Knotpaw, and also Charlie, so that the two CYOAs [That'll actually be completed] are evened out in representation on the banner.

And cool, you used my first fan-character's name.

I understand that completely; you are totally right on with that! I think I read some of your character reviews and I heard you mention something about how she-cats can be named Badgerfang or Liontail, or something like that, because the only thing that matters is color. The cats wouldn't associate any of it with gender, and now that I've heard it, I agree with it, and you, 100%.

Ah! So subplots; that will be interesting. I like how you went a different route with the CYOA instead of just having Asterpaw begin in a clan c:

Man, it's been such a long time since I was doing those reviews...

Honestly, there are some names that are gendered, but only due to genetics. The tortoiseshell and calico names will only be used by a female cat, since only female cats can be those colors. Other than that, it's free game.

I'm hoping to do something unique with this story, but I'm worried that people will see it and go, "This is hardly a warriors CYOA. That title's wrong."

And, y'know, they may be right. I'll have to see what I can do about that.

Eh, I don't mind the less warrior-based CYOA. The first one was definitely very clan-based, so something further from clans is more outside the box. Of course, if the fellow members of this CYOA disagree, you can try to add more clan cats, but if it's only people not playing, then I don't think it matters much.

I wouldn't mind a bit of a change; we don't want to have a CYOA too much like the first c: I agree with Comettail76^

Glad to hear that from you both. I'll do my best to live up to expectations.

As a side note, the experience titles have been changed slightly! You can take a look on the bottom of the stats post.

We gotta stop increasing that experience over willpower so much... we need to eat less cat food.
