Id like to say that I adore your story. Aside from the story, you are amazing at portraying everything and your grammar is superb! Simple to say: Your an amazing write and I believe you have a gift.

Except for one minor detail. You say that your main Character Aubrey, comes from America, and that she has just moved to England. Except for the fact that you clearly give her an English accent in some of your writting. For example:

In America we do not say "mum" we say "mom" You constantly have her saying mum in her mind or outloud. Also you have her saying very English like remarks, for example: "I slapped her round the gob and walked away" Nobody in America uses this expression, nor I believe understand what it means...
We dont say "hit me round the head with her Geography book or something" we say hit me "on" or "up against"
we also dont say "have a go" we say "attack or hit" or "so and so is going to fight me"
We say "good thing" not 'good job" it was a good job that I had my phone on me: it was a good thing I had my phone on me.

And when shes looking at all the people in the room: two boys were eyeing me up, girl looked really cheesed off: we say "two boys where checking me out" and "the girl looked really angry or mad"

there are multiple others that I can point out to you if you like. Your writing is clever, and your sarcasm is intriguing and hilarious. Keep up the good work I am now following you!

((Thank you (: I don't normally comment unless I'm writing some of my story but I will in this case. I know that these phrases are common to English and not American since I live here in England, that is why I wrote them. I was trying to portray how she has changed from spending time in England. Also someone else commented that she was at first dead nervous and now she was the opposite, that is also because I was showing a change in behavior from environment. I know, I fail at these things, but that's what I was aiming to do. Writing isn't my best talent but when I have some time to spare I love adding bits to my stories on here. So if you need to ask anything else go ahead. ^.^

I think you make things clear very well, but usually it takes awhile for people to pick up on accents, especially since you say she is 13 right? In this case it would be even harder. She also says these type of things very early on.

((I am so so so sorry that I haven't wrote in ages. I am only a teenager and I have a school life ahead of me and also family and stuff going on so sorry about that. Oh, and also, thank you for all the feedback and comments, if it wasn't for you guys then I wouldn't be still writing this story I would of given up on it ages ago. So thank you so much! And I hope you keep posting and giving me advice!))

Awkwardly, for a while in French, me and Lucas would not speak at all. We were sitting right next to each other - yet he wasn't even making eye contact, even though the whole class had finished writing down the French essay we needed to do and the teacher was just lounging round on her computer eating an apple.
I doodled some hearts on my notebook in red sharpie, and then I coloured each of them in with light pink. I flicked over the page; and the sharpie had gone through, like I'd imagined it doing. It looked like the heart had bled through the thin pages of my notebook, as if it was in pain or broken. Lucas looked at it and then glanced back at his French book, pretending to right some extra add-on thing to his work so that he got more marks.
I was thinking of maybe poking him with my sharpie that was laying in my sweaty palm, but I decided not to as a shy feeling overlooked me and covered my brain. I all of a sudden felt awkward and really shy to be sitting next to Lucas, so I turned to my French book and tried to write some random words like he was doing. But I forgot that I had a sharpie in my hand and the red ink went all through my book.
With a grumble, I shoved it in my bag and rested my head on the table, and folded my arms around them. What I thought was meant to be right, me and Lucas, had turned out to be... weird. Why weren't we speaking? And why was I shy to even poke him, although I wasn't shy at all with James? I heard Lucas stop writing and his chair budge. He was probably staring at me to see what a retard I was being. But I didn't give one at the moment, and I felt a tear trickle down my soft cheek. I decided that life was a fail (my life anyway) and that it sucks badly. Amen.
