Ah, on the topic of roleplays gone bad, I was in one at some point - it was a Pokemon one, and I was kinda excited to roleplay.
I had a Quilava, level 28, with a viable moveset. She wasn't interested in romance at all, and preferred being on her lonesome.
Soon after, another person applied to the RP; another Quilava, level 28 as well, with a moveset that wasn't as technically viable (one or two moves were either off-limits for the cynda family or weren't learnable til a higher level).
First thing they do is have this guy show up on my character's doorstep and take a seat by her fireplace. He groaned over and over about how no one loved him and how he had no one, and my character kinda looked on with vague disinterest.
He asks to stay for the night, and my character declines, saying that there's only a single bed.
Cue a powerplay! A Mew character randomly appears and places ANOTHER bed in this already crowded cottage.
I end up going off on the person that they can't just do that when they don't have the power for that sort of thing. Their character ended up going elsewhere, I think, and built a log cabin, never to be seen again.
I can remember a few warriors ones, too, one situation of which was equally as bad as this one, where a character was made specifically to pine over my own, haha. They took the refusal poorly.
