It was finally time for bed, so I could stop playing with Jessy and I got on my pajamas and got into bed. When I heard footsteps, I rolled over and pretended to sleep. I knew Mom was looking at me to say goodnight to me, but I didn't want her to see me awake, because I knew she'd talked to me more about spending quality time with Jessy even though she had already told me about it. When she left the room, I got out of bed and when I heard her turn her light off and go to bed, I krept into her room. She was snoring loudly, so I knew she was asleep. I walked over to her dresser (I know where she hides my stuff) and saw my Dog-pod there. I grabbed it and ran back to my room. Guess who was waiting for me on my bed. Mom.
....... PSYCH! It wasn't my mom! It was Jessy...... which is practically worse then Mom. What are you doing? What are you doing? I asked you first. And I asked you second, so what? Haha! I had caught her! The great and powerful Amy had conquered the evil maiden Jessy from destroying her life and- If I ask you first you have to tell me first. When had she gotten so smart? Fine, I was seeing if Mom was still up. This wasn't a lie. I was seeing if Mom was up. Why where you? Stop asking questions! Why are you up? I won't answer your question unless you ask mine. And I won't leave either until you answer. Again, when had she gotten so smart? Fine. I was getting my Dog-pod back. Now why are you up? I heard your footsteps and got out of bed. Fine then, now get out of my room! Jessy sighed and ran back to her room. She came back shortly after that and whispered to me. I'm gonna tell Mom in the morning! Then she ran back to her room. I sighed and turned out the light, jumping onto my bed and pulling the covers over me. That's when I realized that something slimy was wriggling across my toes.
"The game is coming to its end."
"Our future starts tomorrow at dawn."
"Snow has to pay for what he's done."
"Our lives were never ours. They belong to Snow, and our deaths do too. But if you kill him, if you end all of this, all those deaths mean something."
"Tonight, turn your weapons to the Capitol! Turn your weapons to Snow!"
I screamed and jumped up. I heard Mom run into my room as well as Jessy. Under my covers was Picasho. Here's Picasho: He was wriggling under my covers and squirming fieriusly. He was dying, so I put him in a bowl of water, and he swam around, happy to be in water. What was Picasho doing in your bed?! I didn't put him there! But I think I know who did..... I knew Mom and Jessy had nothing to do with this. I knew that Brent had done this. Here's Brent: He is my older brother. He's always messing around with me and teasing me. Mom LOVES Brent. Like, a LOT! She thinks that he couldn't hurt a fly. But trust me, he does hurt flies! If he sees a fly, he curshes it with his hand, pounds it into a table, swats it with a fly swater, drowns it in a glass of water, puts butter all over it, sticks it to the cieling, electrocutes it, and then throws it into the toilet. He's a very weird brother. Brent did this! Oh no, I'm sure he didn't do any of this! Picasho must have just jumped out of his bowl. I sighed. I knew Picasho didn't jump out of his bowl. Brent had put him in my bed. Now go to sleep. i'll see you in the morning. Goodnight Mom. Goodnight Jessy. When they left, I heard Brent in his room laughing quietly. I began to whisper words to myself. I'll get you for this, Brent! So beware.... BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
