Dear Journal,
I didn''t want to go to school today.
Eclaire My mom made me go to school today.
But I still don't want to be at school today.

It's even worse because..well...Greeneh is kind of...losing it.
He lit a match today, right in front of Mr. Ember. Aaaaand he lit a rocket. That was pointing straight at Java.
Java is now in the hospital. I wasn't allowed to cut school to go and see him. How lame is that? I'm going to go there straight after school, though.
Yeah, so I'm pretty ticked off. Greeneh's trying to get rid of Java...*sigh*

I don't want to face Greeneh. I don't want to look him in the eye and tell him it will never happen.
I know I have to. I've seen him three times in the hall, but I avoided him.

But I don't know why I don't want to. We'll still be friends afterwards, I know. It will be like nothing had ever happened. (No, really, if I tell him to give up, it's like the rocket thing never happened. He's that awesome and we're that close.)
So why am I hesitating?

I called Soda and asked last night. She says she thinks I should just ignore him from now on. But I know I can't do that.

I don't much like it myself because I forget to a lot, but I thought it developed her character a bit more. You know, the teenager that refuses to call her mom 'Mom.'
I might possibly have the plot center around that at one point. Some mysterious thing. *shrugs* I dunno.

Dear Journal,
Fudge, it's been forever since I've written in you! See, I was too busy pigging out on turkey and spending time with Java to write in you. So sorreh. =( Trust me, I didn't like not writing in you, either. I had no where to vent my feelings. (Crud...I'm sounding just like Eclaire my mom...
So! Update!

Well...Java is making a speedy recovery! I'm so excited for him. I went to visit him and he looked pretty banged up. Covered in stitches and bandages and laying on that uncomfortable hospital bed with singed fur. *sigh* When he woke up, he told me that he didn't blame Greeneh - that he would have done the same thing. I know, how sweet was that?

Java managed to make it home in time for Turkey Day! I was really hoping that we could spend it together, but his parents wanted him to stay just within the family because they feel so lucky he's alive now. Well, Greeneh did that much for him, right?
I've been spending all of my spare time tending to Java. He'll be back in school in a month or two...Apparently he's broken many, many bones.

My school is now decked out in holly, candycanes, and...mistletoe. You usually can't walk down a single hall without seeing someone kissing. It's disgusting, really.

Most of us have developed a very neat method. We walk in single file down the halls so that no two dogs are under the mistletoe at the same time. Very nifty, right? =) I'm proud to say I was one of the main founders.

Unfortunately, some geeky dogs are trying to ruin the system. They stand there in the shadows waiting for someone to go through. Because they're under cover, you can't see them until it's too late.

And what's even worse is that Mr. Ember is in on it! Like, if two dogs get underneath a mistletoe and they don't kiss, he gives them detention! Yup, I've had firsthand experience. This weird dog that's like two times the normal-sized dog (I think he's like a body-builder...freak) tried to kiss me. I punched him.

We get to have a Christmas dance on the 18th! (Why is it called a Christmas dance if it's not on Christmas?) I don't know who I'm going to go with, though. I don't think I get to go at all. =( Java'll still be in the hospital. *sigh* I guess I could go and have fun with Soda and steal all the Oreos (Shut up - those things are awesome) and punch and stuff...That'd be pretty cool. I could always play the prankster part, too. =)

Dear Journal,
I fail at writing in you lately. My life is just like...intense now. And the teachers are piling homework on us, like they want us to be busy all through Christmas vacation! They're evil...Conspiracy theories are relevant here, I tell you...

Anyway, so, went to the dance on the 18th. Pretty awesome. Got really sugar-rushed on the punch, even though there wasn't very much sugar in it, managed to pull a few pranks that mainly involved trip-wires, honey, feathers...Yeah. I wasn't even caught. I'm skilled. The skilled maniac. Good title, right?

Lots of the male wolves thought that since I was here with Java we must have broken up and I was tortured by dance requests. *sigh* I'm too popular for my own good. Anyway, I declined all of them except when Greeneh asked. It wasn't a slow-dance, obviously. A nice and fast-paced one that we pretty much goofed around for. Yeah, so we both apologized for the cold-shoulders, especially on Greeneh's part, and we're friends again. What a relief, right?

Yeah, so it's Christmas Eve and me and Greeneh are down in my living room by the tree. We're staying up so we can wait until my parents put the presents under the tree and fill our stockings. Then we're going to figure out what's inside them before morning and eat a few things out of our stockings (Because my parents only ever put candy in 'em).

Like always, our two pairs of parents pitched in and we had a huge selection of candy and stuff before bed, so we're really wired up. Especially Greeneh. He chugged all of the chocolate milk and egg nog, ate most of the jelly beans, and completley demolished the pudding before I had even finished one cake. I don't know how he does it.

So we're both in our traditional PJ's, just like last year. And the year before that. And the year before that. Well, since we were five. Let's say that. Anyway, so it's a red top and a white bottom complete with a Santa hat! We're amazing, yup.

Me and Greeneh are gonna go race in the garden for a few minutes (or hours, haha) so we can burn off some energy and calories. See ya later! XOXO
