Still Entry Two
I thumped up the porch steps and walked to the door before knocking loudly
"Pizza delivery! Open up." ~Me
"They have a doorbell, you don't need to knock." ~Pip
"Wasn't it broken?" ~Me
"They fixed it." ~Pip
Before I could reply the door opened and Keegan was there.
"Where's the pizza?" ~Keegan
"I don't have pizza." ~Me
*Obviously messing around* "But-but, you said..." ~Keegan
"I lie a lot; where's Maine?" ~Me
"What am I not important to you too?" ~Keegan
"Nope you aren't." ~Me
"Oh..." *looks sad* ~Keegan
"I'm just joking around, you're awesome." ~Me
"Thanks, lemme get Maine, you can come with me. So can the wolf thingy hovering next to you." ~Keegan
"This is Pip, I could of sworn I've introduced her to you before." ~Me
"I'm very forgetful so you might have." ~Keegan
We ran up the stairs and headed towards Maines room. Keegan tapped on the door with her paw.
"Bro, broski, brother, brotato, broba fett, brorontosaurs, Abroham Lincon." ~Keegan
*Opens the door* "Hey Brie! Keegan how many bro names do you know?" ~Maine
"Many, my brotato chip." ~Keegan
"You already used brotato." ~Maine
"Yes but I didn't use brotato chip. Anywhos, came to let you know Brie's here." ~Keegan
"Obviously, anyways let's go." ~Maine
After Maine and Keegans mom (Eliza) made us eat a snack she started driving us to Sams house mansion.
"So Brianna, how long have you and Maine been together." ~Eliza
I hoped I misheard the question, but Keegans giggling confirmed I heard her right. Maine looked mortified
"Uhm, well, we've been friends sense the start of freshman year." ~Me
"And how long have you been dating?" ~Eliza
MOM! We're not dating, we're only friends." *Blushes* ~Maine
"What a shame, you two would be cute together." ~Eliza
"Wouldn't they?" ~Keegan
"AHAHAHAHA shut up Keegan"~Maine
Then we started having conversations about normal stuff till we got to Sams
We walked up to the door and rung the doorbell. After a few seconds Sams mom answered.
"Oh hello Brianna, it's so good to see you again! Sam told me some of her friends were coming over, whom might you two be?" ~Monica
"I'm Maine, and this is my sister, Keegan." ~Maine
"Pleasure to meet you." ~Keegan
"Well you all can go run along up to her room, Brianna you know the way." ~Monica
"Alright." ~Me
We all headed up to her room. I knocked on the door and waited for a response, after awhile I knocked again louder.
"Doors open." ~Sam
We entered and I saw she was playing a game on her computer, she had on a headset and was staring intently at the screen. On the screen she was playing a game in first person mode. I saw her character run to a door and shut it. Quickly she glanced over her shoulder at us and moved her headset so it only covered one of her ears instead of both.
"Hey you made it." ~Sam
"Whatcha playing?" ~Me
"Five nights at Freddys 4." ~Sam
"What? Wasn't the third one released this year? How'd he make a fourth one?" ~Maine
She shrugged and opened the door in the game, a rather terrifying version of bonnie the bunny with very terrifying teeth was waiting for her.
*Falling backwards* "WHAT THE FIRETRUCK WAS THAT?" ~Me
Sam barely flinched as she grumbled at the game over screen
"I just can't get the hang of this one, I'm STILL on the first night!" ~Sam
"That's a first! Get it, first, cause your on the first night, and it's a first for you, no? Okay..."." ~Me
She sighed and gave me a look, though I could see she was amused. Quickly she took off her headset and set it down on her desk carefully before getting up.
"Anyways, I'm ready now, oh, how many of you brought towels?" ~Sam
Cricket noises
"Alrighty lets go visit the towel closet." ~Sam
We all went over to a closet by a bathroom, inside was just a bunch of shelves filled with towels, it appeared that the beach/pool type towels were all on the top two shelves. Sam pulled out a step stool but I nudged her aside.
"Step aside shorty." ~Me
*Punches* ~Sam
I reached as far as I could but they were just out of my grasp.
"Want the step stool?" ~Sam
"NEVER! I won't give up!" ~Me
Suddenly I felt myself being lifted up, I looked down and saw Maine holding me up.
"Gracias Amigo." *Grabs towels and passes them out* ~Me
"Why do I get the one with flowers?" ~Maine
"Fine I'll swap you." ~Me
"Ducky's aren't much manlier..." ~Maine
"Suck it up, buttercup." ~Me
"I'll trade ya." ~Keegan
I saw hers had hearts in multiple colors.
"Uh no, what about you Sam?" ~Maine
Sam had gotten a blue and white striped one.
*Sighs and hands over the towel* "Fine, I don't see whats so important about towels anyways." ~Sam
As I was closing the towel closet Sam's mom approached.
"By the way Cecilia is coming over and so is her son, Andrew." ~Monica
"Awesome." ~Sam
"Oh, yay." ~Me

Andrew, god I hate him. He and Sam flirt with each other a lot but they aren't really dating, though that's not what bugs me. He picks on other kids constantly as long as Sam isn't watching, I've told her a few times but she doesn't believe me. He's also on the swim team and is like the best swimmer in the school, you'll find out why in a sec.
Anywhos, Sam immediately opened the towel closet again and spent a minuet picking the perfect towel for him >.> she's fun to be around till he butts in.
We walked downstairs and were heading towards the back door to the pool when the doorbell rang, Sam immediately turned around and ran to go get the front door as we tried to catch up.
A lady and Andrew were there, I managed to snap a quick pic of Andrew.
I think you know why he is the best swimmer in the school
He usually dresses "hotter" than that but I guess sense he knew he was swimming he probably just threw on a tee shirt or something.
How come I noticed these things?
Anywhos, Sam and him immediately started chatting and shut us out when and of us tried to get a word in.
*Cough* "Desperate." ~Pip
"I know, right?" ~Me
We went through the back door and Andrew immediately took of his shirt and flexed. Keegan, Maine, and I all just gave eachother looks and eyerolls. I took off my shirt and shorts cause I had my bathing suit on underneath them before doing a cannonball into the pool. When I surfaced I saw Maine running towards the pool before jumping in with me.
"Heeeyyy." ~Maine
"Heeeeeyyy." ~Me
"Heeeeeeeeeyyy." ~Maine
*Slightly giggling* "Heeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyy~Me
"Heee-" ~Maine
"HAY IS FOR HORSES!" *Dives into the pool right between us* ~Keegan
*Laughs* "That is the most unoriginal thing ever yet so perfect I'm laughing." ~Me
"Eeyyy I'm just that good." *Small chuckle* ~Keegan
*Laughs and splashes us* "Dorks" ~Maine
Andrew obviously looked annoyed, and Sam tried to look unimpressed, but I could tell she wanted to laugh with us. WHY MUST SHE ACT LIKE A SANE PERSON JUST TO IMPRESS THIS SNOB?!?

Andrew climbed up the highdive and did a perfect dive off of it, he swam across the pool underwater before popping up and winking at Sam, who smiled and winked back.

Sam did a flip off the low dive, she surfaced immediately before flipping her bangs out of her face. We all clapped and she grinned.
After swimming around and stuff we decided to play some games. Thankfully Andrew didn't argue against it cause otherwise Sam wouldn't of agreed >.>
After a few rounds of the classic marco polo we grabbed a tub of water stuff from a supply closet and pulled out a few random balls to bounce around (I believe it was a beach ball, a dodgeball, and a volleyball)
Using the volleyball we tried to keep the ball out of the water by hitting it up, which was fun for a little bit, but eventually we got bored and just started goofing around. I was standing in sorta shallow water when suddenly Maine swam underneath me and stood up, getting me to sit on his shoulders.
"AHH what the... *laughs slightly* GOSH you startled me Maine." ~Me
*To Andrew* "I challenge thee to a chicken fight." ~Maine
"Do I have no say in this?" ~Me
"Shoosh." ~Maine
"Your challenge is accepted. *Turns to Sam* "M'lady?" ~Andrew
*Climbs on his shoulders* ~Sam
"I'll be ref does chicken even need a ref?I just wanna feel important." ~Keegan
After we decided to go best out of three we faced each other, Keegan gave a countdown before suddenly screaming 'BEGIN" at the top of her lungs, she almost scared me off my "mighty steed"
Maine started advancing towards Andrew, and Andrew did the same. He started approaching Maine that is, I don't think it's possible for Andrew to approach himself, I guess if there was a mirror... ANYWAAAYS.
I pushed Sams shoulders, and she shoved my back, I almost fell backwards but we both managed to stay upright. After a short bit of pushing all of us tumbled at the same time.
"Brie and Maine, or maybe Andrew and Sam, I'm not really sure your splashes got in my eyes." ~Keegan
The second round we won, and the third round they won.
Keegan then grabbed those rings that sink and you have to dive under water to grab. She held them up to get our opinion.
"Sure." ~Maine
"I dunno, they're kinda childish." ~Sam
"Yeah but we're childish, and so what? It's fun you have to admit." ~Me
*Shrugs* "Yeah you're right, but only for a little bit cause the sun's gonna set soon." ~Sam
"Yeah okay, could be fun." ~Andrew
"Sweet!" ~Keegan
We had fun tossing them around and racing to get them first. Sense they were easy to spot it was more of a race really. The sun started to set and Sam and Andrew got out of the water.
"One more time then we get out." ~Maine
"Sounds good." *Throws the ring* ~Keegan
It hit the water with a splash... All the way in the 10 feet deep area. Great...
*Laughs* "Smoooooth." ~Maine
*Punches* "Shut up. I'd get it but I'm not that strong of a swimmer."
*As she dries her hair* "You can leave it, I'll get it in the morning." ~Sam
"Nah I can get it right now." ~Me
"Ya sure? I can get it." ~Maine
"Nonono, I'm fine! I'm not some damsel in distress y'know?" *laughs* ~Me
I pulled myself out of the water majestically. And by majestically I mean I looked like a walrus.
"Dude leave it, we have a long stick thingy somewhere. I mean, we're all tired I don't want you to hurt yourself." ~Keegan
*Walks over to the 10 foot deep area* "This'll be faster, besides when did you become the responsible one?" ~Me
I jumped in and swam down with my eyes open, my ears started to hurt but I ignored it. I grabbed the ring and went to give myself a boost by pushing myself up off the bottom, as I always do when I want to surface quickly, but to my shock my paw barely grazed the floor of the pool. Panicking I started to swim up, but my leg cramped, I tried to swim with just my arms and that's the last thing I remembered.
The next thing I remember is lying on the hard concrete while Maine looked down at me nervously. I sat up and a towel was wrapped around my shoulders. Suddenly Maine hugged me.
"You're alive!" ~Maine
*Panicking* "Do we have to look for signs of shock or something?" ~Keegan
After a heartbeat I hugged him back. I mean, c'mon, a cute guy is hugging you, what are you gonna do ;D
That's me for you, I just almost drowned and all I think about is the fact Maine is hugging me.
Maine didn't let go of me when I expected him to.
"Are you okay? Maine had to dive in and then do CPR to revive you." ~Sam
"W-W-What?" ~Me
No wonder Maine was hugging me. Not that I minded ;3

Lemme see, if I remember right for reviving someone who drowned you
1. Turn their head to the side to drain any water swallowed
2. Begin mouth-to-mouth resuscitation
3. Strongly breathe four times into the mouth of the 'dumb person who decided to try and get a cheap plastic toy when they were already tired from swimming all day' as you pinch his or her nose
Okay so there are more steps but those were the ones that mattered right now...
That means that Maine technically kissed me during the sunset, and I missed it!

Andrew had gotten Sams mom who then called 911. Way to make a scene Brie, all over a cheap plastic toy >.> Mad Skillz Bruh
Maine let me go when the paramedics got there, he looked slightly embarrassed after he realized he was hugging me for so long but seriously I didn't mind at all.
After doing fancy doctor stuff they started to put me on a gurney.
"I'm fine, I'm not dead." ~Me
Then they started talking about complications that can arise from water exposure or something and that I needed to go to the hospital ASAP.
They didn't even let me walk to the ambulance! I guess I shouldn't be complaining, as there was a legit chance I could die.

I couldn't help but notice a tiny crowd watched as they loaded me up into the vehicle, great, could it be ANY more embarrassing! At least Maine was allowed to ride in the back with me. It would of been awkward if it was just me and two random medically trained people stabilizing me, or whatever they call it.
They asked Maine what happened and he, of course, told them, and then they told Maine if it weren't for him I might of not made it.
The rest of the ride was just me tuning them out as I tried to comprehend what happened, we were already near the hospital (and obviously a ambulance can get somewhere faster than a ordinary car) so the ride wasn't long.
I'm writing this in the hospital, they're pretty sure I'll be fine but they want to make sure just in case. It kinda sucks, lying on a bed in a stupid (okay comfy) robe of sorts and a bunch of wires connected to me to let everyone know my heart's working and whats not. I was tempted to hold my breath and see what happened but decided against it.

Oh my gosh I love my mom, but if she could refrain from smothering me with kisses and panicking that'd be great. I guess I'd probably do the same if I had a kid that drowned.
She had to go home and take care of my baby sister, so it was just me and Maine, which I'm not sure how he managed to stay past visiting hours considering the fact he wasn't related to me. I'd ask him in the morning when he woke up, cause right now he was out cold in a chair.

Maine let me go when the paramedics got there, he looked slightly embarrassed after he realized he was hugging me for so long but seriously I didn't mind at all.
After doing fancy doctor stuff they started to put me on a gurney.
"I'm fine, I'm not dead." ~Me
Then they started talking about complications that can arise from water exposure or something and that I needed to go to the hospital ASAP.
They didn't even let me walk to the ambulance! I guess I shouldn't be complaining, as there was a legit chance I could die.

I couldn't help but notice a tiny crowd watched as they loaded me up into the vehicle, great, could it be ANY more embarrassing! At least Maine was allowed to ride in the back with me. It would of been awkward if it was just me and two random medically trained people stabilizing me, or whatever they call it.
They asked Maine what happened and he, of course, told them, and then they told Maine if it weren't for him I might of not made it.
The rest of the ride was just me tuning them out as I tried to comprehend what happened, we were already near the hospital (and obviously a ambulance can get somewhere faster than a ordinary car) so the ride wasn't long.
I'm writing this in the hospital, they're pretty sure I'll be fine but they want to make sure just in case. It kinda sucks, lying on a bed in a stupid (okay comfy) robe of sorts and a bunch of wires connected to me to let everyone know my heart's working and whats not. I was tempted to hold my breath and see what happened but decided against it.

Oh my gosh I love my mom, but if she could refrain from smothering me with kisses and panicking that'd be great. I guess I'd probably do the same if I had a kid that drowned.
She had to go home and take care of my baby sister, so it was just me and Maine, which I'm not sure how he managed to stay past visiting hours considering the fact he wasn't related to me. I'd ask him in the morning when he woke up, cause right now he was out cold in a chair.
I'm not sure how realistic that is, as I have never drowned before, meeeh
Also instead of a older brother Brie has a baby sister. I'm thinking maybe you guys could PM me name ideas for her
