Thank you! It brightens up my day when I read comments like that.
The amazing Snowflakette has inspired me to stop being lazy and write more stuff on this thread. This story just popped into my mind while I was doing homework (I am so random.) So I decided to post it. This story isn't true, because I'm female, have no love life (forever alone), and I don't know anyone named Trina or Anthony.

Trina

Bzzt! Bzzt! My phone vibrated in my pocket. Which meant I got a new chat message. It was probably from Jack. Jack constantly sends me messages about things I dont care about such as which country might win the Olympics in twenty years. I ignored my phone and continued doing my homework. Bzzt! Bzzt! My phone buzzed again. I sighed and kept on working. Bzzt! Bzzt! For the third time within five minutes, my phone vibrated. Maybe it was an emergency, but I doubted it. Jack might just have something he finds interesting to tell me. Reluctantly, I pulled my phone out of my left pocket.

The screen lit up as I pressed the button. I had a notification: There were three chat messages from "Trina-Husky-402," or Trina. I suddenly regretted not replying earlier. Trina has been my secret crush for the past four and a half months, and when she finally sends me a message, I ignore it. I'm such a dork. Quickly, I type in my password (iwishtrinalikedme) and opened the chat app. The first message made me smile. "Hi Anthony! I was just wondering if you have any free time within the next 2 hrs. I'd like to meet @ the library. Thanks! TTYL!" Then, I read the next message and I became a little disappointed. "Bring your algebra text book! I forgot to mention that I wanted you to help me with #4-17 on page 291. That's why I asked you to come to the library." After reading the third message, my heart sank. "Nvm, I got Troy to help me."

I sent her a message with an excuse of why I couldn't reply earlier, and that I'd be happy to help if I could. I shoved my phone back in my pocket and continued my homework. A few minites later, I got up to get some chips and a can of Sprite for myself. As I was taking it out of the fridge, my phone began to play "Animals," my ringtone. What if Trina was calling me? I attempted to take my phone out of my pocket, but one of my hands was clutching the soda can, and the other was holding the open bag of chips. I rushed to the table to put my snacks down, but I tripped and chips and Sprite flew across the room onto the floor. I had spent two hours lask weekend cleaning thwt floor! But the floor wasn't my first priority; Trina was. I yanked my phone from my pocket. I was right; it was Trina! I answered and held the phone to my ear.

"Anthony?" Trina said.

"Yes, Trina?" I replied. I hope she didn't notice the shaking of my voice. I get nervous when talking to her.

"Anthony, put your phone down." She told me. Why would she tell me that?

"How come?" I asked. I hope I didn't sound rude.

She sighed and said,"This is a video call, not a normal call! All I see on the screen right now is your ear. Put your phone down."

I'm so awkward! I held my phone in front of my face and blushed. "Sorry 'bout that." I said shyly.
"It's ok. Troy can't figure out #12 on the algebra text book, so can you help us?"

Yes! Another chance to talk with Trina. "Of course! Not helping you would be like causing you to fail... Trina?"

The image on the screen stopped moving. I tried tapped the screen over and over again, but it was still frozen. I closed the video chat and opened the regular chat. I asked her what she needed help with, but she didn't respond. Not after one minute. Two minutes. Five minutes. Ten minutes. Half an hour. An hour. Two hours. What was taking her so long?
Then, I suddenly realized why she wasn't replying. I had said "Of course! Not-" right when the screen froze. Now she probably thinks of me as a rude irresponsible person who helps no one. Trina never talked to me again.
