A/N: Thanks for your comments! I probably won't be updating as fast, since I'm not on much during school days, and today's Mother's Day.
Previously on The Little Girl in the Big City...
"Uhm.. Her name is Ari Blue, she's so pretty, and yes, she does have a sister who is off limits!" I said, when Axle smiled at the end, then frowned. "Come on, bro, let's go get her number. She obviously was on the same plane!" Axle said, and we power walked to the baggage claim, his backpack slapping his back the whole way.
Chapter 5
Logan
We. Made. It-finally. We had to run from the plane to baggage claim, and guess what? The plane is the VERY BACK, and baggage claim is at the front. Have you ever had to run across LAX? Ari better feel special, after two breaks because somehow Axle couldn't precess in his mind that his backpack could also roll. So, after a while, he finally noticed this, and rolled it, so we went faster.
I saw Ari by the conveyer belt, waiting for her suitcase. There was one beside her, a dog cage. And a very pretty one, too. Just as attractive as it's owner. Her owner! I was here to get her number, and for Axle to get his luggage. That's not important, though. Axle patted me on the back, and went off in search of his suitcases. Taking one last breath, I walked over to Ari, who was watching her sister get another suitcase. I tapped her shoulder, and she turned around.
Ari
"Logan?" I said, tilting my head. I looked calm, but on the inside, butterflies were were having a grand 'ole time. "Hey.. Uhm.. What's your number? So we can talk more." he said, his green eyes glazed with fear, and I could tell he was nervous. He handed me his phone, and I handed him mine, and we exchanged numbers. I glanced over at Madelyn, and saw some girl behind her staring at Logan. So, just to show her that Logan is mine, I stood on my toes, yes my toes, and kissed him on the cheek. Logan looked as if he were going to explode. He blushed, and hugged me goodbye and walked away with another guy whom I assume is his twin brother to catch a cab.
The first thing that caught my eye while on the drive home was Hollywood sign. I stared at it until a tall building blocked it. We drove for some time, and the limo started chugging up a hill, and appeared in front of a beautiful mansion. As we got out, I let Nadia out of her cage, and she immediately leaped into the pool. "Nadia!" I shouted, then Madelyn held me back, "It's okay. I'm not the one who cleans the pool. Come on, I wanna show you something." She led me into the house, and I got a little scared. It was huge! The living room was first, and at the edge two grand staircases loomed before me. What if I get lost? Madelyn then led me up one of staircases, covering my eyes. A door was opened, and she uncovered my eyes to reveal a beautiful large bedroom with the Hollywood sign right outside my window! I gasped, and engulfed Madelyn in a giant hug, "Thank you so much! I love you, sis!" I shouted.
My phone vibrated suddenly in my back pocket, and I yelped in surprise. Madelyn laughed softly at me, and walked out of the room to give me privacy. I read the text, and smiled.
Logan: Hey.
Me: Hey xx
Logan: Wrud?
Me: Nothing, just unpacking, u?
Logan: Nope, would u mind if i came over?
Me: sure xx my address is 2390 Hollywood Rd.
Logan: wow! you live in the Hills? on my way.
