Ebony walked alongside the others. She was feeling happy, knowing that she could return home soon enough. "So, where should we try first?"

"Um, we should try to keep going forward, and try to avoid Slenderman at all costs, if possible," Karmaletta replied.

The group agreed and continued to move forward. Ebony was alert not only for the final page, but also for Slenderman. The sky was beginning to become lighter when the final, eighth page was spotted.

Ebony grabbed the page, put it away in her bag, and came face to face with Slenderman. With eyes wide, she nearly screamed right before Slenderman disappeared from sight. Ebony rejoined the group, and they all dashed off into the direction they believed would take them to the gate they had all started earlier that night.

Soon after running well after where the group had found the last page, Slenderman continuously appeared from nowhere, causing the group to turn to a different direction. Ebony felt herself getting tired as each moment passed. The Sun was beginning to show on the horizon when the gate appeared, the one that led out of the woods. It was a beautiful sight.

Before the group exited the woods, they abandoned the eight pages in a small ditch.

"We may never know what the purpose of those stupid pages are, but I don't care to ever find out," Ebony heard Divine mumble out loud. The others murmur their agreement as they strode past the gate. Before leaving, Ebony looked over her shoulder to see that Slenderman was watching them, and she knew that wasn't the last that she or the others will see of the dreaded Slenderman.
