It was the next day. We all sat down in the grass at recess.
So, what do you guys got to talk about?My birthday is tomorrow.I'm thinking about cutting my hair.I found out that there's a doughnut shop opening up downtown.I wanna ask how come you seem to be making all the decisions, Jenette.We all stared at Suzi.
What do you mean?Oh come on, Jen. You-Don't. Call. Me. That.You don't order me around, Jen.If I were you I'd watch what I say.Yes, but you're not me so I suggest being quiet.My eyes got big. Why were they fighting?
That's funny. You said that I couldn't order you around, and yet you order me around.Yes, but you don't count because you're ugly.How does my looks have anything to do with this?Because if you're ugly enough then you can destroy yourself.Jenette growled.
That's a complete and total lie.No. In fact, you'd know. Because you're dear Clyff probably died from ugliness.Jenette suddenly sprung up and jumped onto Suzi. They rolled down the hill, fighting each other. Everybody else sprung to their feet and ran down the hill.
Suzi, stop it!But Suzi didn't stop.
Jenette! You know better than this!Jenette didn't stop either. They scratched and punched each other.
Don't you ever mention his name again!Clyff was killed, Clyff was killed!Suzi was saying it in a sing-song voice. I remembered who Clyff was. It was Jenette's love.
Clyff was killed by me!Shut up!Jenette sprung up into the air and came down, her fist crashing hard into Suzi's stomach. Suzi lost her breath and wheezed. Jenette saw her chance. She picked up Suzi and flung her across the grass. Suzi crashed against a tree and crumpled to the ground.
SUZI!We all ran to the tree, except for Jenette. She just stood there, staring at the tree in awe. Suzi got to her feet quickly when we reached the tree.
Get away! This is our fight!Suzi ran up to Jenette and they resumed their fight. I looked over at Gish.
Why are they doing this?For once, I have no idea.We all stared at Jenette and Suzi, fighting harder and harder as the minutes passed by.
If somebody doesn't stop them they're going to kill each other!I looked over at Ginger and Gish. They didn't budge. Guess I was going to be that someone that stopped them.
Wish me luck.I took a deep breath and ran into the fight. I grabbed Jenette by her arms and pulled her away from Suzi. But Suzi lashed at both Jenette and I.
Let her go! We're not finished!Suzi was suddenly pulled back. I looked behind her and saw that Ginger was pulling her away from us. Ginger pulled Suzi in the complete opposite direction that I was pulling Jenette, which was a good thing. We had to get them as far away from each other as possible.
Meet me back here in an hour! Gish, make sure Suzi stays down!Gish nodded and followed Ginger while I pulled Jenette over to a tree. I shoved her to the ground, but she got to her feet quickly and started running toward Suzi. But I grabbed Jenette and shoved her to the ground again.
JENETTE!Jenette looked up at me, a strange look in her eye. Her eyes locked on mine and her eyes changed. She was back to normal.
I'm sorry, Amy. I don't know what happened. I just... when she mentioned Clyff I just lost control.Why?She killed Clyff, Amy. He died in front of me.Pete.Jenette looked up at me.
Jenette, you know that I loved Pete. But then he betrayed me, which is worse than him dying. He nearly killed me. I didn't even know what to think when he did actually die, and I still don't know!I'm sorry, Amy. I totally forgot about Pete.Yeah, well I remember him every night. I can never let him go. He was the only one I ever loved. The only one I ever kissed. You're not the only one who lost a loved one.I'm sorry. I forgot.It's alright. I know that you loved Clyff a lot, and I'm sorry about him too.We were quiet for a moment.
It's sort of strange how both of our boyfriends died.It's even stranger how they both died by Suzi.Jenette suddenly stood to her feat.
Wait a minute.What? What is it?Suzi killed both of our boyfriends.Yeah. That's what we just said.I know, but...Jenette's eyes got even bigger.
Amy? Where's Gish and Ginger?They're trying to calm down Suzi.We have to get to them immediately!Jenette started running.
Why?!I ran and caught up with her (amazingly. She can run faster than me, so I don't know how I caught up).
Suzi's still evil!
