✖✖✖Hello, my name is
cheezi, but everyone calls me cheez. I've been trying out for plumies since 2014, which is the year they had been released. I am the owner of one plumerian named
Ky, who I had won completely by surprise. Yuleden had been a dreamie for me ever since Firefly. had posted them. I fell in love with the design and I just felt a connection. At the moment I'm not too active in the fanclub, and I made a promise to myself that if I win a second plumerian, I'd be more active and take part in all plumerian events. I won't neglect them and I'll shower them with love if I win. I hope you enjoy reading through my form.

✱Name:
Yuleden Matthew Yorkshire
✱Gender:
male
✱Age:
26
✱ Sexuality:
biromantic heterosexual
✱Occupation:
He is a candlemaker. He enjoys making candles, especially
scented ones. The skill was passed down from his grandfather, to his father, then to
him. He is the owner of an old candleshop, which, you guessed it, sells candles.
He feels especially proud when he sees anyone use his candles, it reminds him of
his father and the good times they both spent together making the candles and
selling them.
✱Personality:
Yuleden is a cheerful fellow, always telling jokes and finding the "bright sides"
to situations. He never fails to put a smile on anyone's face, and he loves
seeing others laugh. He's especially handy when it comes to problems, he's
a good advice giver and he's very loyal. Sometimes, however, he might not
be feeling at his best so you'll see him be cranky and snappy. But don't worry,
Yuleden won't stay snappy forever and you'll see him back to his kind, old self.
He is a tiny bit sensitive and almost always on the verge of tears, although you
can't see it, he doesn't feel very right about himself and instead likes to go and
help others feel "right". Yuleden tends to be very selfless when it comes to helping
others, he doesn't care what happens to him as long as the other person is safe.

In the darkness
One by one
unfolds flickers of light
setting the evil to its right.
The candleman walks down
The lonely street where he once found
A match sitting tiredly on the ground
So he picked it up, and carried it around,
He lit the match, banishing the darkness
Lit the candles, leaving the heartless
Spirit of swirling black to flee
Introducing a chorus of lights shimmering with glee.

Everyday people come and go, but these people hold a special place in Yuleden's heart.

Ky visits often to buy scented candles. He says it eases his nerves, and Yuleden just agrees with him. Whenever Ky visits his cozy and candlelit shop, he can tell that the nervous guy seems to calm down a bit. Ky is also one of Yulden's most frequent visitors, and he also enjoys the plumie's company.
They both decide to meet up every once in a while to chat about what goes on in life. Yuleden always serves tea and lights a couple apple cinnamon scented candles to calm Ky's frayed nerves. In Yuleden's eyes, Ky is like a fragile, porcelain doll, and he will do anything to protect something as precious as Ky.
The two of them are like best friends, inseparable, but a bit distant at times.

Aisu is a cool and collected soul, and Yuleden often wonders what someone like him would be doing in a candleshop. But everyone who passes by has a reason, and even though he hasn't found out the reason Aisu comes and goes, he does think that he's a nice fellow.
Yuleden, being the happy and kind plumie he is, never fails to put a smile on the older plumie's face with a couple of jokes. They both enjoy sharing jokes and stories, which never really lasts too long, but the moments last long enough for Yuleden to remember.

To be honest, Yuleden doesn't know how he feels about Cahaya.
She isn't a frequent visitor, but whenever she comes in, she sets an odd air in the small candlelit shop. Is it her stride? Or maybe her way of examining things? Maybe it's the way she flicks her tail whenever she finds a scent she likes, or flicks her left ear whenever something doesn't interest her.
Cahaya is a little odd according to Yuleden, but he enjoys her coming and going, even if she doesn't venture in often.

Jackdaw, like his mother, Cahaya, is a bit odd as well.
Whenever Cahaya brings him along on trips to the candleshop, the little guy always seems deep in thought, or probably very pouty and stubborn. He speaks in odd sentences, riddle-like sentences, and often comes up to Yuleden to "riddle him up"! But having a quick mind, Yuleden decodes his riddled sentences and riddles him back.
Jackdaw, or "Jackie" as Yuleden had begun to call him, had taken a liking to the shopowner and finally felt relieved to find someone who understood him.

Ah, Peony. A tad bit annoying due to her demanding and jokester personality, but of course, things need to brighten up in the shop every once in a while, right?
She strolls in once in a while, mischievous look on her face and a sly smile. At first, she had played pranks on poor Yuleden, which he did not enjoy, but he had gotten used to her and she started playing less pranks and telling more jokes.
They both have one thing in common: they love jokes. Yuleden and Peony sit down once in a while to share jokes, and Yuleden believes he has a special bond with her. Not romantic, of course, but probably like a good friend.

Other than just candlemaking, Yuleden enjoys passing the time doing other things as well. baking
Yuleden always wanted to be a baker. He vowed that if candles were to fail him, maybe cookies or cupcakes wouldn't. The smell of cookies rising and becoming small bites of deliciousness was heavenly to Yuleden, and his childhood was filled with memories of his mother baking. The best part of all? Eating the delicious goods you have baked and feeling proud because, hey, at least this time it wasn't a total disaster!

sewing
Sewing is very essential to Yuleden. Well, mostly, since he never sews things that are considered "essential" to others, but he sews what is "essential" to him. He loves sewing together lovely stuffed animals. Yuleden enjoys the process of stitching them together and adding a little smile at the end and a bit of sparkles, just to add on to the joy. His favourite is a star speckled giraffe with golden spots and stars.

Yuleden was born on a snowy, December night into a humble family with the name Yuleden Matthew Yorkshire. His mother was a baker, his father was a candlemaker. As a youngster, Yuleden took much interest in the both of their jobs, and he'd love to help them in any way they could.
At the age of seven, Yuleden was already helping his father making candles and selling them at the marketplace. Soon, his father hoped that he would accumulate enough money to buy his own shop and to continue making and selling candles.
Three years later, Yuleden's family had to pack up and move to the great big city. His father had finally gotten enough money for a nice, little shop, and some extra money for a nice, little home in the city. He had great big hopes for his candlemaking business, and so did little Yuleden, who was at the time, ten years old.
In middle school - which to Yuleden was the hardest years - he came in with a good attitude and a big smile on his face. He learned the hard way that anyone new and especially cheery were shunned in his grade, and for the most part he felt a little alone. Being the son of a candlemaker, many joked about him, but Yuleden never let the words get to him.
Yuleden was mostly interested in drama and literature, and he remembers the time when he got a part in a school play. It was a spin on the story of the ugly duckling, and guess who was the ugly duckling? Yuleden was! At first he was a little nervous reciting his lines but soon he had gotten used to it and started speaking loud and clear. The production was a success, and even though Yuleden got laughed at for being chosen as the ugly duckling, he held his head up high.
As he matured, Yuleden found a couple of friends who welcomed him into yet a bigger group of friends. Each weekend they would host parties at each other's houses, until finally it was Yuleden's turn to host. If he did it, his father would probably be very upset with him. If he didn't, well, he'd go back to being friendless. It was a huge decision in Yuleden's life, but he did the right thing and declined.
Pretty soon, Yuleden found himself packing up. He was going to travel to Florida and stay with his aunt, since it was a hard time for his family. He promised his parents he would return once in a while to visit. It was a very emotional moment as his parents saw him to the airport and delivered their last goodbyes, but Yuleden looked on the bright side of things. He was being given an opportunity - why not seize it?
A new place, a new beginning. Everything would turn out fine. He met his aunt, who he hadn't seen in a long time, and accommodated himself in his temporary home. He had to make the best out of what he had, because if he didn't, his life would seem very gloomy.
Yuleden spent his time at a newsstand, selling magazines and newspapers, and that was when he started telling jokes. It certainly put a smile on people's faces, and it had brought him to participate in a joke contest, and he had won second place. With the money he had won, and the money he earned from his job, he flew back to the big city and took over his father's business when he was too old to keep on going.
Now, Yuleden is a successful candlemaker - the candleman.

"Alright guys, five minutes 'till showtime!"
Yuleden had never been so nervous in his entire life. He was in his fluffy, gray costume, and with big amber eyes he observed everyone as they ran back and forth, putting on costumes, practicing lines. He was the star of the show, yet nobody noticed him. Of course, since he had a gray costume on, he blended in well with the shadows. He didn't want to be seen, but at the same time he wanted to be noticed.
It's nothing to worry about, once I go out there, I'm sure to be noticed. I'm sure...
"Yuleden, get to your place!" the director whispered to him. He jumped up and walked over to the stage, which was dark, but he could see well. He crouched under one of the wooden bushes on the set, and almost held his breath.
The first few minutes ran smoothly, until there came his cue to pop out. Nervously, he did, and he looked as pathetic as ever. Perfect! he thought. The "Mother Duck" rambled on and on about how he was so ugly and soot colored that nobody would ever like him! The "ducklings" laughed. Yuleden almost cried, but he managed to hold back his tears.
Yuleden took a deep breath and recited his line. He couldn't hear himself in the midst of it all, but he was sure he had said his line correctly.
The show went on, and he went over his lines correctly, but something just didn't feel right. He didn't feel like the star of the show. He felt dull. Isn't that what I'm supposed to feel, since I'm the ugly duckling? He waddled across the stage and said, "Oh they don't know it. They don't know that true beauty comes from within. I'm not ugly! I promise, I swear! They're the ones who are ugly."
The crowd was silent for a moment, and so was Yuleden. The narrator glanced at him, then said his line. "The poor, ugly duckling had run away from home, away from his mean stepmother and siblings, in hope for a better life."
Yuleden walked off the set glumly and waddled backstage. The head costume designer was there, and she handed Yuleden his swan costume. "Here, put this on."
Yuleden took the silky, feathery costume and took off his downy, gray one. He sighed, and then put on the swan costume. Something snapped. Something changed inside of him. He felt better by the second. Yuleden smiled at the costume designer and waddled to the edge of the stage, waiting for his cue.
"And then, something magical happened. A swan lighted down on the pond, stretching its silky wings. It looked down at the water to face its masked reflection and gasped. How much had he changed?"
Yuleden looked into the "pond" on the stage and gasped. He had changed! He seemed to glow, to radiate confidence and beauty. He smiled. Do these costumes have magical properties? Or is it just me?
He turned to the audience and said. "True beauty comes from within. It's not what's outside that makes a person, but rather," He put his paw on his heart to emphasize his point, "what's inside."
