Lillian walked through the doors and sighed, this was going to be a long day. She grabbed her messenger bag and quickly tousled her chocolate brown pixie cut. She grabbed her newsboy cap and put it on her head, at a cute angle. She saw Becca was talking with Ruth Anne so she just walked home by herself. She saw that no one was home in the drive way, she did a silent cheer and a fist pump. She grabbed her lap top once inside and face timed Diana, "Heyyy!" She said smiling widely at the screen, "Heyyy!" The tall girl with the blonde braid called. "What's up?" She asked sitting back, Lillian shrugged, "Nothing much, how's Africa?" She laughed as she saw a mouse peak out from under Diana's bed. Diana shrieked and chased the mouse out, "Sorry, what did you say? Oh right Africa. Amazing. But the animals and cell service aren't that much of a thrill ride." She joked sitting back, "I can't believe that I'm leaving and coming back in 1 week!" She screamed, "One week? Omygosh why didn't you tell me?" Lillian shrieked excitedly. Diana had been in Africa for over 5 months. Leaving Lillian with Becca and her family.
"One thing's for sure." Diana laughed as Todo her cat walked in with the mouse dangling in his jaws, "Todo loves it here."
