Luke is a very clumsy and excitable doll. He tends to be on the optimistic side, and is
almost always happy. Luke is a greedy little booger, wanting people's food when
ever they have any. He tends to climb all over people and Luke thinks he is a lap
dog. Luke has to be entertained all the time or else he will whine and complain a
bout being bored. His favorite things are going outside and going for walks!! Altho
ugh be warned, he barks at strangers!! Luke wants to be pet and loved 24/7. If he
isn't getting constant attention, he will follow you around and grab at your cloth
es or paw at you. Luke is very sensitive and anything mean towards him will be ta
ken to heart. luke is very weak, but he acts like a big tough-y.

the way luke speaks can be kind of annoying. sometimes he speaks in third person.
he'll say,"ooh luke agrees!" or "you should pet luke." and even "feed luke a treat."
it's not because he's dumb or anything (wait...), but he is pratically a dog. he
doesn't really understand basic sentence structure and that it should be me
and I. of course he doesnt always talk like that. it comes and goes at random,
so you never really know when it's gonna come.

did i mention luke is very sassy? well, i did now. luke is very sassy and flirty. he
can take a liking to anyone quickly and is very touchy and clingy with everyone.
he likes to snap his fingers a lot and do THE THING with his hands. you know
where someone winks and then snaps their fingers and points? thATS THE THING.
HE DOES THAT THING. TO EVERYONE. no one is safe from
his reign of sassy terror. save yourselves.

Growl is a very caring and protective shadow. They are always willing to help despite the fact that they cant (I mean, Bark is just a bracelet). Sniff is very easy to upset. Since they are just a bracelet, unlike other doll's shadows which are usually small animals, they find this upsetting. luke always tells George Washington that they're perfect they are though, and they feel better almost instantly. that's what great about them; once they get upset, it's easy to make them...not.

one thing to know about this shadow: once they like you, they will protect you. they will defend you. they will risk everything to keep you safe. Arf feels like it's their duty to take care of others. even in the simplest or hardest tasks, they will always be there for you. dont want their help? whoops too bad, you've got it.

Growl tends to be on the quiet side around a large group of people, but is very loud around a small group. especially if it's a well known group. Jason Funderberker would be considered an introvert. they are quite shy, even with Luke as their...owner I guess you could say. their doll??? i dunno man, but Pickles and Luke are polar opposites for sure!! at least, in some aspects.

lets get straight to the point. remington and luke are really close. ever since remington took luke in on a

cold december night, luke has been stuck to him like a cheap suit. luke considers remington to be his "best friend...besides Snuffy of

course!". luke is basically remington's pet. you know the saying that dogs are a mans best friend? think of it like that: luke is the

dog and remington is the man...er...doll.

and just like a dog, luke would do anything for remington. he'd make him tea, fetch things for him, pretty much anything. and in

turn, remington gives him undeviating attention. the attention luke oh so very much craves. although it seems like a "i scratch your

back you scratch mine" relationship, luke doesnt consider it that.

remington tends to appear to resent luke, but that's only in front of the public eye. when it's just luke and remington together,

remington will let luke do whatever he wants. that could be him latching onto his arm, curling around his feet, laying on his lap, and

generally being very touchy in clingy. in public, remington would push luke away, leaving a persistent luke confused.

luke would for sure not consider leon one of his clo
set friends. far from it really. the two hang out oc
cassionaly. luke thinks that leon is far too mean fo
r his tastes and finds his tongue to be too snide for
him. being the kind little thing he is though, he wo
uld never turn leon down if he asked them to hang
out. that doesnt happen often, however, and the on
ly time they talk is if luke is really bored.

both of them worry too much about their dolls, both
are very motherly and kind, both of them are too sw
eet for their own good, and they're both just the cu
test things in the world. sir really likes mama bear
and they find that they can relate to them a lot. n
ot only do they share stories about their dolls toge
ther, but they find each other comforting.

luke, at first, couldn't stand xander. why? because
he's a cat of course. and you know the rules; dogs
HATE cats. except, luke couldn't not like him. no
matter how hard he tried, could not bring himself
to hate xander. probably because of how quirky
and talkative he is. luke and xander can talk for
hours on end about literally NOTHING! dorks heh

snarf and reager are forced to be together all the
time. you know why? because their dolls are tog
ether all the time. benedict arnold finds reager
to be tolerable, and the two have actually found
a small degree of friendship. although the two are
not as close as their dolls are, papyrus is still very
willing to protect reager just as they would luke.
one word to describe the friendship: mutual.

the first time luke saw rocket, he was drawn to the
m immediately. the small raccoon boy was sewing
and creating clothes, and luke knew that he HAD
to be friends with him, no matter what. and guess,
they did become friends. luke thinks rocket is a qt,
and although luke is an extrovert and rocket is an
introvert, luke spends most of his time with rocket.

just like their owner, arf thinks that tanuki is super
adorable. seeing that rocket and luke hang out all
the time, you would think they hang out the same
amount. well you're wroooongg!! tanuki and growl
hang out almost more than luke and rocket do. sans
would consider tanuki to be their best friend?? just
like frisk to reager, they would protect tanuki
with their life. maybe they get attached easily?

i guess you could say ita is a bad influence on luke.
ita is a huge trickster; he likes to pull pranks and
jokes on others. luke generally isnt like this unless
he hangs out with ita. ita can convince luke to help
him pull pranks, and luke will do it out of loyalty
to his friend. luke almost always gets in trouble for
the pranks, but he never learns. never ever.

just like jason funderberker, ustu-san is kind at
heart. which is why the two get along so well. arf
and ustu-san bond over their mutual desire for bein
g generous and kind to others. they also bond over
the fact that they have to keep their dolls together;
they both have to make sure their dolls dont get
into any serious trouble. well dont you think
that they go together just fine?

luke cant really relate to napolean's personality that
much. luke isnt as aggressive and prideful as the
lion, but doesnt mind really. although he denies
it, luke is slightly fearful of the other. napolean
can be scary when he is mad, and luke gets scared
very easily. luke tries to help napolean with his goals
to be wise and level-headed, but sometimes it doesnt
work.

GOOD GOD DONT GET ME STARTED!! Sans is very
very very protective over lionel. the poor little
sprout is too pure and innocent for the world. c
huckles tries their damnest to keep lionel away
from the evils in the world. if pickles has to pick
one other shadow to spend their entire life with,
it would have to be sweet little lionel. alphys
will pick roses with lionel and lay in the grass
with him whilst their dolls do their own thing.

luke and sniffles before the dollhouse, before remington, before anything lived on the streets. the two lived as a stray, thrown out by a previous owner. luke wasn't heartbroken though, he always believed they would come back. and being the optimistic doll he was, he never gave up hope. bark was too soft to tell luke otherwise and let him believe that things would get better and that their previous caretaker would come back to them.



everyday, luke and arf would travel a little bit. everyday farther and farther, searching for food, water, and anything they could get their hands on. then, as always, would go back to the same location their old caretaker had left them at, in hopes they would come back.



pickles had given up hope almost two days after the drop off. they were always so pessimistic anyways, so it didnt take long for them to realize it was hopeless. but still, never said a work to luke. and luke forced growl to stay with him. eventually, months went by and there was still no sign of their beloved master.



it was finally near christmas when luke realized that nothing was going to change. that he was a stray, free to live his life however he wanted to. he never realized it until a few days earlier. with this new change of thought, luke ventured further than he has ever gone, and never returned to the location of drop off.



this is how luke and george washington found remington. they left their comfort zone and everything they've known behind. remington then took them in and introduced the two to the dollhouse. ever since, luke and jason funderberker have been located in the dollhouse.

yep, luke does indeed work. but not what you may think. it isnt really work work, like a paying job. luke does it just for basically free. luke works at remington's store. a store full of books and other types of neat little things.



the whole reason luke works for remington is because of the deal the two made. luke was allowed to stay with remington if he did his part. his part was working at the store.



one part of luke's job is sorting the books. sometimes people come in, look around and move stuff, and leave. luke's job is to keep things in alphabetical order. if a book is misplaced, it is his job to fix it. if it isn't fixed, he may get scolded by remington depending on how many are out of order.



another part is putting books on the shelf and taking some off. new shipments of books come in every once in a while, and its luke's job to make sure that the new shipments get placed onto shelves. old books that no one is interested get taken off and kept back at the living area of the store. the new books then take that spot.



it isn't really hard, and for some odd reason, luke actually enjoys working? probably because he doesnt call it work, more so chores. even then its ???
