Four clans, far from the main four clans, live together. These clans were born when eight warriors of the main four clans, two of every clan, were captured by twolegs and escaped far away from the main four clans. They were given dreams saying that they were destined to create four new clans, just like WindClan, ThunderClan, etc, that folllowed StarClan. MeadowClan is just like WindClan. Their warriors are fast and swift. LakeClan is like of RiverClan. They are like otters when it comes to swimming. DarkClan is like of ShadowClan, lingering in the shadows. ForestClan is like of ThunderClan, their warriors are known to be the most friendliest to outsiders. But what will happen when MeadowClan's deputy decides to kill the leader and turn the clan anti-clan?

Prologue:

Meadowstar sighed, her eyes watching what was happening around her. Meadowstar was on her last life and everything around her seemed to be fading. Meadowstar was the founder of MeadowClan. She was the first leader yet all the other clans were on their third leaders. So many of her friends were dead and gone in StarClan. Meadowstar should of been retired a long time ago, but she was too stubborn to believe it.

Meadowstar padded over to the two elders of MeadowClan, Jaggedjaw and Frozenflower. Meadowstar smiled to herself when she remembered the two when they were just apprentices. They were brother and sister. Both of them were former kittypets who were kicked out of their twoleg nests. Now they were old, just like her. "Hello, Meadowstar." Frozenflower rasply meowed out a greeting. "When will you make Poppyrose's kits apprentices? They just turned six moons, you know and I think she's rather desperate to get rid of them, her expecting another batch of kits and all." Jaggedjaw quietly meowed, staring into the nursery with his sightless eyes. Jaggedjaw had just completely lost his sight a few moons ago.

Meadowstar nodded as she slowly made her way to Meeting Hill, the small slope where she called out the clan meetings. "All cats old enough to catch their prey, please come to the Meeting Hill for a meeting!" She yowled, her voice cracking. Her voice wasn't as loud as it used to be and she knew it. One by one, her clanmates gathered around her. Meadowstar first made Dawnkit an apprentice but just before she made Foxkit an apprentice, she heard a voice that she hadn't heard in ages.

"Meadowstar." A gentle meow came from a large black tom. Meadowstar glanced at her clanmates to know enough that they couldn't see or hear the tom. "Ravenstar." She whispered. Meadowstar had once been Meadowlark of WindClan. Ravenstar had been the leader at the time and he was also her former mentor. "Oh, Meadowstar. You will join me soon in StarClan. But I'm afraid to say that your death will be a sad one with no one who will mourn. You will die exactly the next moon, whether or not you want to." Ravenstar faded away with each of his words until she couldn't see him no more. "RAVENSTAR!" She yowled. "TELL ME IT ISN'T TRUE!"

Waterfall, along with his fellow clanmates, curiously watched the old leader. "She's gone crazy." He muttered. Several heads near him bobbed a yes. It certainly did look like no one would really mourn the poor leader's death.

Meadowstar couldn't take it. She left her deputy, Darkface, to do Foxpaw's apprentice ceromony while she went to suffer alone in her den.

Chapter 1: LakeCLan
Cliffpaw happily trotted out of LakeClan's apprentice den, excited for the next day of her training. Today her mentor, Otterstar, promised to have her hopely final assement. "Otterstar? Otterstar?" She looked around the camp, she even padded into the leaders' den without asking but Otterstar was no where to be found.

"Otterstar already set out, honey. He wants you to hunt by yourself." Foxheart warmly smiled at Cliffpaw, which shocked the young apprentice. Foxheart wasn't the "sweet, motherly" she-cat types. She was more of the "silent, I-hate-young-cats-but-don't-try-to-show-it" types. Either that, or that was just what Cliffpaw thought Foxheart was like. "Er, Thanks Foxheart." She stuttered. Something was definitely wrong. It seemed like everyone was drugged, all of them besides Foxheart, Halfsight, their apprentices and Cliffpaw were the only ones awake when at least everyone except the elders should be awake.

Cliffpaw padded out of camp, deciding to do a full scan of the territory. Most of it was a small lake which overlapped into ForestClan's and MeadowClan's territories. Cliffpaw really only needed to look at the land area. Cliffpaw sighted her mentor, Otterstar, laying down on the ground, seemingly injuried.

"Otterstar!" She gasped as she ran towards him. "Wha--what hap-ppened? You'r--" "Run away! It's a trap!" Otterstar interrupted his apprentice, just before he went limp. "Otterstar." Cliffpaw whispered. "Don't leave me. I-I loved you." "Too late, my friend." Hissed a voice. Cliffpaw looked up to see Darkface, the MeadowClan deputy, leaping out of the shadows. "Darrrkface? What are you, a meadowclanner, doing in LakeClan's territory? We haven't done anything to you!" Cliffpaw growled, standing over Otterstar. Darkface began to chuckle. "You see, I have great plans for the clans. Otterstar, here, didn't agree. So, he's dying because of his foolishness. And you're just about to do the same." The frightened apprentice was an easy kill. Cliffpaw was too shocked to realize what was happening.

Meanwhile, Otterstar was in starclan, losing his lives. "Don't worry, Otterstar. Fortanately for you, you have still three lives left. That piece of foxdung didn't get rid of all of them." Lakestar, the founder of LakeClan, tried to comfort Otterstar, but he knew it was useless, his eyes flashed sorrow. "Unfornately, I'm afraid Cliffpaw will not make it." Lakestar sighed, looking at a StarClan forest. A flash of tortie pelt, the outline of a cat, seemed to be making its way towards StarClan. "NOOO!!!" Otterstar howled.

Otterstar groaned. He quickly jumped to his feet. That couldn't be possible. His apprentice, his secret love, couldn't have possibly been killed by that dirty Darkface. But it was true. That foxdung scent of Darkface was everywhere and the almost limp form of Cliffpaw laid a few fox-lengths away from him.

Cliffpaw twitched and groaned, her breaths growing shallower. "I...seee Lakestar." She whispered. Cliffpaw could faintly hear her mentor Otterstar, but she wasn't sure what he was saying. "Otter....star. Don't beee..be sa.ad. He'll be..be dead soon....I--I know, by, by yourrr claws...." She stuttered, it was harder to breath and speak. "Cliffpaw, Don't go. Stay, I know Moonfeather can fix you. I-I can't live without you, CLiffpaw. I love you." Cliffpaw weakly smiled to Otterstar's words. "I love you, too, Otterstar." She whispered. With a final groan, Cliffpaw left for StarClan, on the day she should of been promoted to warrior. Instead, she was murdered by the paws of Darkface.
