Thank you again! He's gorgeous! I'll do a brief outline here for name, personality, etc.

Name: Carnelian (like the orange-colored stone)
Nickname: Carne (car-neh) or Nel ("kneel")
Favorite foods: Pumpkin pie, snickerdoodle cookies, butterflies, and water beetles.
Favorite pastime: Tagging along after his cousin Iolite and consequently getting into trouble. That part, he hates...but it comes with the territory, unfortunately. When he's not getting into trouble (and getting out of it, since he never means to get there in the first place), one can find him collecting songbird feathers. He likes to hang them up on the inside of his den.
Personality: On the introverted side, he seems almost a hermit compared to his cousin. However, he will talk your ear off about anything he finds interesting. He has a knack for picking up musical tunes rather quickly. He likes his area of the den clean and organized and would rather be right than wrong. While he won't hold a grudge, he also isn't afraid to use his tears to immediately let someone know that they've hurt his feelings. He gets called "cry-baby" often for this reason, but doesn't really care. Iolite sticks up for him and he'll join in a tussle she started in order to "save her".
