Dr. Paine's Wildling

Postby neon. » Thu Oct 06, 2011 12:48 pm

Happy Halloween!
This Egg was found in a Graveyard. I wonder what it'll look like when it grows up?

This Wilding has been adopted by Dr. Paine. Hopefully it will grow up soon!

Is it still open to adopt?

~Wildling~
Username: Dr. Paine

Dragon's Name: Thanatos

Dragon's Personality: Secretive and shy, with a penchant for digging up graves and hiding behind tombstones. His lack of proper family or upbringing has led Thanatos to be more... wild. He hardly trusts anything, be it the human who leaves food for him to the spiders and worms crawling about his graveyard home. He is not violent, though. Even his habit of digging up graves is not out of malice, but a simple curiosity and a love of all sorts of bones, which he noticed looked like the markings on the remains of his egg.

Dragon's History: Winter's chill had come early when his egg was laid, prompting his mother to take off for warmer lands. Hunting was scarce though, and as much as she tried, the female simply couldn't keep her strength up, prompting her to take longer and longer rests, with shorter flights between.

It was a cold October night that she lighted down in the graveyard of a small town, barely more than a bundle of bones in a leathery skin that had lost most of its vital scales. She scratched a small hole in the ground, building a small, if not rather crude, nest for her precious egg before curling up around it. Alas, the morning sun rose to find a thin layer of snow and frost covering the ground, the graves, the trees... and the body of a small dragon, still curled protectively around an egg.
