Fun fact for you, Casper - the word "dilettante" refers to someone who studies something, like the arts, without really committing to it or bothering to learn anything more than the surface-level facts. I like to think that applies to all of Doc's interests except for the one on their cutie mark (i.e., medicine) - they dabble in this and that, sure, but medical emergencies are absolutely no time for slacking off! There's lives on the line, and they have a job to do!
