'I was going hunting in the sea. It was a huge patrol, for one terrifying reason. A shark. One had been spotted in the bay, injured and floundering.

I dived underwater, widening his eyes. This was the most glorious part. They were close to the sharks and were creeping forward. I saw the shark splashing in the water. The tail slapped down nearby and ducked deeper, holding his breath. Nearby, I saw a Bengal coat- Eelflip.

I propelled himself forwards, paws outstretched. I prayed I wouldn't run out of breath now! An unsheathed claw scraped its side and I clawed his way up the shark, which was already half-dead and weak. Eelflip leapt up afterwards, and crouched on the barely moving shark.

Badgerpounce and Crabhop circled them, treading water. I went in for the killing bite when the shark thrashed around, sending a harsh wave washing over me. I was tossed off and saw Eelflip tumbling after him. Before I blanked out a screeching pain rocketed through my head. And that,' he finished, 'was how I lost this ear.'

Prompt: Although Moon likes to claim he lost his ear tip in a great, heroic fight, he actually lost it in a rather silly accident. While he and his younger brother, Dusk, were playing tag, Moon stumbled off of a steep hill, and rolled all the way to the bottom. During his tumble, Moon passed through a few sharp-thorned bushes at a relatively high speed. One of these thorns caught on his ear tip, and it was torn off. Thankfully, the lost ear tip was Moon's only injury from the accident.
