the first time she saw it flood. she was an apprentice then and when they evacuated the camp, she was confused at first. But when she saw the flood from above: she was amazed. The way the trees were sticking out of the water looked so exciting to her, and soon enough she'd started up a game. They weren't supposed to play it, but of course, all the apprentices did anyway. It was where they had to jump from tree to tree until they got to the camp. The other apprentices never made it that far, but she did. After all, her warrior name was Icicleleap. Either way, the best day of her life was when she made it all the way above the camp. They stopped the game when the water went down, and she was old enough to know that it was too dangerous by the next flood.
