How do they hunt despite being deaf in one ear and having poor eyesight? Milkgaze struggles with her hunting and manages best when helped by another cat. She finds his humiliating and prefers to strike out on her own, despite coming back with less prey. She feels like she has to try harder than other cats to prove her worth in the clan. She hates having to rely on others. She hunts best by the tidepools, where she can locate crabs and eels without too much strain. However, Milkgaze always has to be accompanied when going down by the sea, as she has trouble noticing the waves and is easily swamped by water.

How do they hunt despite being deaf in one ear and having poor eyesight?:
Due to her lack of proper hearing and sight, Snowdrop's other senses (taste, touch, smell) are much stronger than those of other cats. She uses her whiskers to guide herself around major obstacles, and always tests the ground in front of her for leaves or twigs with one paw before taking a step forward. During leaf-fall, when the ground is covered in dead leaves, Snowdrop struggles to avoid making noise while stalking her prey. Instead of hunting during leaf-fall, Snowdrop contributes by helping the others track down prey scents, and occasionally by flushing out prey. She hunts best in winter, when most of the plant scents are buried in frost, and her white pelt blends into the snow.

Congrats on Snowdrop! I love how you not only brought up the other senses, but also how the cat uses these to her advantage!
