Adopt #36

Postby I Like Bees » Wed Feb 27, 2019 10:02 am

If the adopt count seems a little off, it's because I haven't been counting artist customs as adopts.
Phenotype: Chocolate Smoke Sepia

Winner: Ravenwhisper's Wish

This kitty was digging in the ground, and found something interesting.
What did they find? What do they do with it?

(You can add to the form, if you want.)
Code: Select all
Name:
Gender:
Prompt:

Ends March 2nd.
(Specifically, at the end of March 2nd, CS time.)

Name:
Smokes
Gender:
Tom
Prompt:
Smokes found a Native American arrowhead, surprisingly enough. He didn’t know what it was, so his first thought was that he should pick it up and take it home. That’s exactly what he did. It wasn’t a deceased animal, so his humans gladly accepted it, and it’s a pretty cool item.

    Name: Crabhop
    Gender: tom
Prompt: Crabkit scraped in the dirt, snuffling. This cold was really a downer. Was was this though? His small paws swiftly uncovered a peculiar weedy rock. Except it wasn't a rock, it was soft and he sunk a claw into it by accident. He trotted up to his mother with it, his eyes shining. 'Mami?' he mewed. 'What's this?'

His mother glanced at him and explained that it was a bulb. 'Plant it and a flower will grow.' So Crabkit buried it in a corner of camp where the sun often shone, and waited. He waited for two moons, caring for it tenderly, then three sunrises into newleaf a sprout sprung up. He squeezed water onto it every day and it flourished in the sea air.

Three moons later it's first bud flourished into a flower. Everyone told him how beautiful it was and Crabkit, now Crabpaw, adored it. He'd sing to it, tell it stories, and every time a flower shriveled and died he'd bury it.
