Prompt: Marigoldspark followed the sound of an injured animal to a clearing. A fawn, trapped in brambles. The mother deer was nearby, peering from the edge of the clearing. Marigoldspark padded forwards, aware that the deer could charge and potentially injure her. But if she left them, a patrol could find them, and she didn't want such a beautiful animal getting hurt. The medicine cat began to gently tear the brambles away from the fawn's leg. It seemed to be frozen with fear, it's amber eyes the only things moving. She was so close, she could see its' nostrils lightly flaring as it breathed. She cut the last bramble away and began to ease the thorns out of its' leg. When they were all gone, she swathed it in spiderwebs and added a quick marigold poultice to avoid infection. She backed away, dipping her head to show it and the mother that she meant no harm, and Marigoldspark watched in awe as the two deer darted away.
