Try basing one of a sweet treat maybe a cookie with a bite out the ear or something! another design i think would be really cute would be onevthat could be like based of of a midsummer evening with fireflys floating around it or a design based off of a cavern full of crystals

idea;; Try looking up different types of birds and fish, even those that are not a tropical variety manage to be quite pretty, and sometimes even colorful

idea;; I don't think there's a lot of pokemon-inspired pillowtails out there, which is something I'd personally like to see more of. Mythological and fairy-tale inspired pillowtails are also a good idea, like unicorns, dragons, the big bad wolf, etc.
You can also just make a bunch of pillowtails using real life animals such as antelope, deer, wolves, cats, foxes, lizards, and such.
Space-themed and pastel adopts are also really nice in my opinion, like this pillowtail here.
More ideas could be pillowtails based around elements such as water, lightning, light, dark, fire, ice, air, nature, plasma, metal, and others, or even ones based on gemstones or minerals.
I dunno. There's a lot of ideas.
