Kind of cliche, but Clara is a hopeless romantic. She falls in love easily and she falls hard. She tends to be clingy and needs support or validation. She got the tatoo to remind herself to look at it in a positive way instead. The hearts also represent her mother, father and sister.

what their tattoos mean: vines themselves are very stubborn plants, and they're difficult to be moved out of their current path if someone tries. dottie is the same way. strong, focused, a goal-getter. she rarely lets anything come in the way of her aspirations.
extras: bought her sweater at a thrift store, had planned on sewing it into something cooler but decided that she liked it how it was. started collecting more, so now basically all she wears is sweaters.

What their tattoos mean: Cassie had always loved the forest in her backyard when she was a child. She spent most of her free time exploring the seemingly endless expanse of pine trees. When she went in to school, she of course told everyone about her special forest and the adventures she had in it- but no one wanted to hear what she was saying. To them, a forest wasn’t “cool”. When Cassie grew up, she got the tattoo to remind her to be herself, no matter what the consequences.
