- Lark: A quiet, watchful little street urchin with round eyes. She's recently started following around another pair of orphans and helps them in their thieving. She's the lookout, scouting ahead for the law and getting the lay of the land. She looks remarkably like a scruffy puppy when sad.
Laurel: A soft boy who loves ruffles and beautiful things. He and his sister(Anise), have become separated from their parents in the great city of Welce. They've taken to filching others to get by, and tend to keep their heads down. He's quite taken with the fine arts - singing, dancing, drawing, and sometimes(when he isn't paying attention) the things he draws in chalk almost... breathe.
