The odd thing buzzed to the front of the kennel where it's food had been slid under the grate on a tray.
Meat.
Her proboscis unfurled and it's spiny teeth latched into the flesh of the raw hunk of meat. Her jaw slipped open and green fluid leaked over her lip onto the meat and it melted like cotton candy on wet lips.
The black, straw-like appendage slurped the liquid protein into her gut with a sickening slurp, her eyes catching a million mirrors of the visitors in the kennels in rose and lime green hues.

what a spoiled little thing

Fayre remembered her previous owners words.
“You’ll get fat eating all that meat!”
“And you won’t be able to fly”. She shifted in her small bed at the adoption center, before giving a big yawn. She wished she wouldn’t have displeased her previous owner by eating so much. Fayre loves to eat lots of food and because of that she is slightly to heavy to fly. Her previous owner was displeased with her and gave her to the pound.

Fayre loves to woof at small creatures. She is very fascinated with snails and if she sees one it is likely she will lay down next to it and watch it slowly slither away. She loves to be given attention and be spoiled. Fayre likes to cuddle in warm places and sleep.

Fayre is very easy to train to do tricks. She follows anything blinking or lights. She is attracted to laser pointers and flashlights and likes to woof at them when she catches the “balls of light”.

Extra: Kyren is pure speed, the legs on the beast are strong and quick, able to make it catch its prey or.. favorite ball. No one expected Kyren to actually be as friendly as it was. Kyren loves to lay their head in your lap and be pet, or just to chase anything they can. Kyren tends to glide when chasing prey, as it's more quiet. Grabbing attention, people tend to back away from the moth-like creature. The eyes give Kyren special vision, and lets them never be caught as they always have a guess of the future. Time passes quickly for Kyren, which can make them a bit upset and need consoling.

Extra: not being able to fly that well anymore, isnt a big bother because of the dog's fast speed, after looking at the pup, Kitty signed up to adopt them.. thinking that barley wouldnt mind having a friend thats partly a bug..

"Barley does need a friend.. the only other ones she has is peachie and raven.." (2 other pup adoptables i just HAD to keep XD)
(Barley is a puppy on here i adopted from someone else.)
.. "well, its better to have another friend thats between how peachie and raven act.. then to have them not at all.." looking at the pup. they seemed willing to get this one, though how the other few attempts went, Kitty doesnt know.

(peachie is super hyper and raven.. doesnt do much..)
