what do they disagree on?:xxxAlthough their ponchos contrast, Adna and Riya both love Coca-Cola
and Pepsi. They just wanted to be able to somewhat match each other because of their friendship. They live together in a small apartment in the city and are together most of the time. Adna works at a retail store and Riya works at a nearby coffee shop. They share many interests yet they are quite different. They get along surprisingly well and have been inseparable since they met in high school. They only bicker about one major thing- temperature.
xxxSince they live together, they both want to be able to lounge and sleep in comfort. The only thing is that they have different ideas on what the ideal temperature of their apartment should be. Adna loves it nice and cool- around 60˚F, but Riya likes it very warm- around 75˚F. They’re constantly changing it back and forth- and it’s not pleasant. They’ve been trying to find a compromise, but every time they do they just end up going back and forth again. Cool, warm, cool, warm, cool, warm, cool, warm, cool... and so on forever.
xxxIt never turns into a full-on fight, but they’ve had countless arguments about it. It’ll never break them apart, though, because they appreciate each other too much. They never let it get outside of the apartment, being sure to keep themselves calm about it and trying not to overreact. Riya is contemplating buying a few throw blankets and then letting Adna keep it cool. But who knows, either one of them might give in.
