The treasure he hunts isn't always gold; Amoungst other things he hunts for adventures and experiences and will do just about anything to hear any sort of story. The dear boy is as kind as can be.

Role:
Adventurer and treasure hunter! As briefly mentioned in his personality, Artemis hunts for all kinds of treasure which doesn't always concern the gold kind.This includes things like emotional experiences and simply adventures themselves. He does enjoy finding treasure with monetary value as well, and enjoys the historical factors much more than the "I'm rich" ones, though he is rather wealthy for a young kalon. Artemis spends most of his money on his loved ones and is always happy to find things out about the artifacts that he finds. He deeply enjoys hearing stories and witnessing magic. Artemis will do just about anything to hear a story and seeks out magic and magic practitioners like a fruit bat seeks out fruit.

I'm Still Here

The open sea stretched for miles and miles and there was nothing to be seen aside from the great blue and green expanse. But then, something in the distance appeared, a spec. A very tiny little something was drifting on the waters surface. As it got closer, it appeared to be a basket. It looked like it had been drifting for quite some time, covered in seaweed and a few barnacles even, a gull was perched on the brim. I pulled the basket closer and saw a little kit inside! He had a little seaweed blanket and a golden compass strewn on a chain around his neck, it was far to big for him though, maybe from someone he was dear to or something for him to grow into perhaps? Anyways, I scooped the kit up and shooed the gull away. The little one didn't make a noise and I was beginning to worry for his health. I looked down at him, he looked back at me, and smiled. And that, dear Artemis, is how you stole my heart.

I hope he returns soon. Father has been gone for days. His fishing trips don't usually take this long. If he's not back within the next couple of days, I shall have to go and find him!

Young Artemis was a very frightened soul in the beginning. The fisherman had tried to ease him into the world but still protected him fiercely from any possible danger. For Artemis to venture into the world, the circumstances would have to be dire, and dire they were. The fisherman had gotten lost at sea and ship-wrecked on a distant land and had no way back to his dear kit.

-tour and artemis become friends, tour says he'll look after artemis until the fisherman comes back.
-they bond and tour helps artemis work up courage by touring him around places in the ocean. artemis eventually starts going on adventures but he always comes back to his house and tourmaline.
