fayth is mute and has been selectively mute ever since her parents didn't accept her for being transgender. they kicked her out of the house when she first came out at sixteen years old, and since then she's been living with her wonderful and loving partner alix. they've been best friends since high school, and alix let her stay with them as they struggled with transitioning. though fayth hasn't fully transitioned yet due to low funds, she's considered to be the mother of noelani and the grandmother of amoretta in this baker family. although she's surrounded by people who accept her now, she still remains silent in fear of being spoken over or discriminated against.

despite everything fayth has gone through, she truly is a big sweetheart -- she loves every living thing. she cares for others, animals, and plants. in fact, she's rescued a few fallen baby birds and cats stuck in trees. fayth would wish no harm on anyone or anything. overall, she's just a super cuddly girl and a very friendly person.

although she's mute, "i love you" are the only three words she will ever speak. if someone says that they love her, fayth will say it back. she believes everyone deserves to be loved. she says it to anyone who looks like they need it or when she feels that it'd be a good time to say so -- friends/family or not.

despite her loving and caring traits, fayth is very clumsy. she's broken plates when helping around alix's bakery and fallen over on top of people by accident. in turn, this ends up with her getting chastised and yelled at endlessly for just being herself. unfortunately, she cannot and will not speak, so she won't say anything in response to the people. this only makes them angrier. alix is usually the one to save her from any bad ridiculing and is always the one to apologize to the person that fayth has accidentally angered. he's the reason that fights haven't broken out because of her.

although fayth helps around the shop, her passion is toymaking, and her favorite time to make toys is in december -- the month of christmas. around christmas time she gets piled with orders and has to work on building toys day to night. although it can be hard work and she messes up often, fayth loves making toys. most of all, she loves seeing the smiles on kids faces when she hands them the toy or watches them unwrap the present.
