Being Mexican myself, I absolutely love this Babusagi. Unfortunately, I have never been able to celebrate the holiday because I am always with my mom during that time of year. Nevertheless, I still contact my Mexican side of the family and talk to the about it and learn something new every year! One day, I hope to celebrate it with my family. Dressing up and face painting is only half the fun! Cooking together is another part of it! I've heard so many stories from my family and it only makes me more excited to join them. Besides that, I truly do think it is a wonderful holiday! Yes, it's about deceased friends and families, but you are celebrating the life they lived! It's a time to remember the wonderful times and memories you had together!
