Push it down, shove it back
Words will not die
I'm warning you, they'll resist
If you dare try
Put down your guns
The more you hate us, the stronger we become
Take a life, silence one
Two will scream louder
Hope is strong, answers lie
Beyond the gunpowder
Hear that sound?
My thoughts are immortal now
Scream, burst at the seams
Won't let you quiet us now
Our thoughts will not be burned
By the lies spreading all around
Cry, don't close your eyes
Our story's written in the sky
You can shoot me down, but you're never gonna hide the truth
'cause words are bulletproof
Tear it down, rip it up
Fan the flames higher
We are crying out
Like a dissonant choir
The sound lives on
And the soon the silence will be gone
War is hell, blood is shed
Show us your power
Holding fast, we'll resist
Screaming still louder
You can lie
But the truth will never die
Sticks and stones
Are gonna break my bones
But the words are gonna break you
The truth is gonna shine through
Fire will rise
You'll fight us to no surprise
Though burning pages trail behind
You'll never stop what's in our minds
This is my voice
This is my heart
These words of mine
Will tear you apart
Now you can't shoot me down
Ideas are solid ground
Personality: Many things can be said of Liam Hayden Fairburn, but above else know that he's gentle and modest. Of course he's also cooperative, observant and practical, but they're often slightly tainted by a mindset of being scornful as well.
He is overwhelmingly loyal, and to his friends he is a very useful asset, and good person. His arrogance can be a problem, as can his sharp toung and inflexibility to change.
You may not notice this when first meeting Liam, but the fact he's arrogant and crass is just the tip of the iceberg. Let alone the fact he's also criminal, desperate and thievish, but their effects are at least lessened by impulses of being punctual as well.
But focus on his as this is what he's almost feared. Multiple enemies have been made because of this and his vindictive nature, but there's not much you can really do about it.
Fair is fair though, Liam doesn't turn everything to dust. He's inflexible, yet aspiring in good amounts, it could be worth to take a chance just once.
He's imaginative and protective among others, so there is still some hope yet.
The Mistakes We Make
(and the friends we keep)
The dark furred kalon gave a ragged sigh as he pulled out the keys to the door of his apartment. He stumbled to the door, trying his best not to limp. Each time he stepped down onto his back paw, he winced. Liam attempted to fit the key into the lock, however he missed, instead leaving a dent in the dull painted door. He tried again, hearing a click as the key turned. The door swung open, and Liam pretty much fell through the doorway.
The world around spun around him, and he had to reach out a hand to steady himself. He swore under his breath, leaning against his door frame for support. It was taking all his effort just to stay standing. Liam took a deep breath, resting against the wall as he did his best to remain conscious. He let himself sit, leaving a dark smear where he had been leaning. Some part of his brain told him he would have to clean it up later. That drew a small laugh from somewhere deep within his chest. Here he was, probably dying, and all he could think about was cleaning his house.
โJJ would kill me if he knew.โ Liamโs voice scraped against his throat, raw and quiet. He laughed again, the soft chuckle being replaced with a peal of coughs.
โOw.โ He winced as something in his lung sent a jolt of pain through his body. He shook his head slowly. How had he been such an idiot? JJ would be angry, he knew that much.
โI have to stand up.โ The revelation dawned on him slowly, and with a groan the green eyed kalon tried his best to move. He whimpered in pain and panic, reaching a hand into his pocket. His paws shook as he typed in a number, and the phone rang through.
โHey, JJ, sorry. I know you donโt like late phone calls, but I got into a bit of trouble.โ He coughed hoarsely, lungs burning. โI know you told me not to. S-Sorry.โ Liam felt the phone slip from his grasp, world fading to black.
