Why Do they shy away? (Short story, minimum of 2-3 sentences):
Kerberos is flighty; it's arguable that this is part of his nature. However, it would be a stretch to say that he's always been this way. He was a newborn once, trusting and full of innocence, but years of scavenging and fending for himself have contributed to the way he behaves, the way he carries himself. He's always posed to dart if needed, wary of unknown sights and sounds and smells.

Despite all this, Kerberos can still be tamed, he can trust if shown he can. It will take time and patience to coax this skittish Kobalos out of his metaphorical shell, but it can be done, and Kerberos is willing to try.

Why Do they shy away? (Short story, minimum of 2-3 sentences): Birch has always been shy. He never got out much as a child, so he tends to find himself anxious around new people. He's afraid of scaring others away from him, so at first he's a bit shy and won't speak. But, if you stick around him, he might warm up to you and will become quite the energetic creature! It takes a bit to earn Birch's trust, but he's very likeable once he's sure you'll stick around!!
