New traditions are interesting, yes, but what is old and so colourful is amazing. The lunar new year is everything she could have asked for. Colour, fun, dance, mythical creatures and so much more! The dances are especially interesting. Creatures given respect.

Farrah strives to be the most over the top, extra kal there's ever been and the same goes for any events she hosts, especially her fall festival. Utilizing the neat rows of maple trees in a nearby park, she sets up picnic tables, cuddle corners, a projector screen for thrillers or horror movies, and an endless sea of snacks under the changing leaves. The entire neighborhood is invited, and some kals even come from other towns to attend. Her new addition this year are crafts tables, everything from flower crowns to the traditional hand-print turkeys! It tends to stay pretty family-friendly until after dark, when the children are taken to bed and the older kals can have a little more fun~

Idle chatter floated around her, the kal's ears flicking lazily this way and that to catch bits and pieces of conversation. She worked calmly at a crown woven with feathers of red and auburn striped in creamy white, flame-colored leaves, sunflowers and daisies in a wonderful mimicry of the fall leaves that drifted from the trees and roosted playfully in the hair and paws of the party goers attending Farrah's annual fall festival.

Nearby, the credits of a cheesy animated movie stuttered to a stop on the large projector and cries of pleading from the younger kals rang out as their parents ushered them off to bed and an even cheesier slasher flick lit the screen up with life once more. Before it, several older kalons lazed in groups, cuddling or bickering playfully around plates piled high with treats.

Farrah stood, donning her fall crown and moving to join in the largest cuddle puddle, stuffing her maw with anything pumpkin flavored and laughing along with the screams of the 'scary' movie.
