What are Raogis?
Raogis are a mammalian species, despite their strong resemblance of raptor species. Their most notable feature is likely their lop-ears, very similar to a rabbit's, though another feature always present within the species is their large claws, similar to a raptor's. They weigh about 50 pounds at full size, and the males and females don't show much of a difference in size. Their offspring tend to grow at an abnormally fast rate in comparison to other species, and are born in groups of 2 at the most.

Raogis are named so at the choice of their discoverer, who stumbled upon members of the species near his lab in the year 1963, which is located in the southwest United States. Not long since the discovery (approximately 3 years passed before the next recorded sighting), members of this species had begun to appear in places much farther from their original spotting location. Their actual origin is unknown, it is a mystery as to how they've remained hidden considering their currently recorded, widespread population.

Nursery Guidelines

- You may breed your Raogis once per 2 weeks. Your cooldown starts when an artist accepts your ticket.
- You may only request an artist when they have an open slot. They will post to this thread when a slot is open.
- You may mark this thread, but please don't bump it.
- Raogis may be grown to the adult stage after 1 week.
- You must follow all general guidelines and rules for Raogis - they apply to nursery Raogis too.
- Raogis may produce up to 2 offspring in one batch, though sometimes only 1 will be produced. See below for rolling info.
- Related Raogis may not breed. Children may not breed either. Child/Adult pairings are prohibited.
- You may breed your Raogi with that of another user's with their permission. Proof of permission is required.

- If both parents possess the same trait, it autopasses onto their offspring.
- Mythic traits do not autopass. This overrides the first rule.
- To determine number of offspring, roll 1-100. 1-25 = 1 offspring; 26-100 = 2 offspring

Standard - 50% chance of passing down. 1-50 / 100
Common - 40% chance of passing down. 1-40 / 100
Uncommon - 25% chance of passing down. 1-25 / 100
Rare - 15% chance of passing down. 1-15 / 100
Mythic - 5% chance of passing down. 1-5 / 100

Items to be made available over time may increase the likelihood of traits being passed down, or they may allow the 'choosing' of the number of offspring to be produced. You must specify when submitting a ticket if you are using an item.
