" a tarot deck has many cards, more than is used by myself, that come in four unique suits (cups, pentacles, swords, and wands). the cards i deal with most often are the major arcana cards, or the trump cards. in a standard tarot deck, there are twenty-two major arcana cards (and fifty-six minor arcana cards), and they each represent different things and hold different meanings. "

CUPS
" the cups cards represent the element of water, and the cups cards are very emotional cards; they deal with relationships and connections to other people, feelings and emotions, and are heavily associated with the concept of love, displays of emotion, expression of feelings, and the role of emotions in relation to others. because of the cups cards relationship with water, they allow me to, depending on what card it is, read peoples true feelings (as long as they are not hidden away or blocked off somehow), or summon geysers, small busts of water, and allow me some control over water and how/where it moves. "
PENTACLES
" the pentacles cards deal with the more material aspects of someone's life, like money, success and fame, personal property, business and trade, and even extends to one's own health and finances. the pentacles cards represent the element of earth, and are usually used to summon small barriers, like walls of earth, or being able to see someone's true desires and their passion(s) in life, provided they have opened up to me at least once. "
SWORDS
" the swords cards are often associated with violence, action, power, ambition, change, and conflict, just to name a few things. the meaning of this card can be positive or negative, and cards of the swords suit are often seen as the most dangerous and volatile cards. some believe they hold the most power of all the card suits, and that the card also means hatred and war. contrary to what one might think however, the swords suit is associated with the element of air, and with this card can be summoned things like strong gusts of winds from nowhere or conjuring up air shields, and sometimes, if one is high enough skill, even becoming the wind itself. swords cards allow me to see someone's deepest secrets and darkest thoughts, as long as i know them on a very deep, personal level and dont already know what the secret or thought is. "
WANDS
" the wands cards, despite how they appear, represent the element of fire. wands cards are heavily related to spirituality, creativity, inspiration, energy, innovation, and ingenuity, for example. wands cards deal with one's own spirituality and what makes you you; your personality, your energy, your thoughts and feelings, your hopes and dreams... all the things that make up who you are, the core of your being, are represented by the wands cards. because of the wands cards representative of fire, i can use it to do a variety of things, especially relating to the self, like revealing someone's true self or becoming aware of their hidden truths and personality, the things they hide from everyone else, however this requires an incredibly close bond to the person and is no laughing matter. it can be useful, but like fire, very dangerous, and is to be used with caution. on the more normal side of things however, the wands cards can also be used to do the more typical things associated with fire magic, like summoning fireballs, or cyclones made of fire. "
